Their breakfast was delicious with a start of fresh fruit and scones, and a great breakfast burrito that day. A short walk to LLBean, it’s near all the attractions in Freeport. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. It was a real pleasure to stay there!'

Oude stoffige kamer, direct gelegen aan de snelweg, was van te voren bekend, dus nemen we voor lief. Was overigens wel gehorig. Nooduitgang naast de kamer stond elke keer open. Tot 2x toe bij thuiskomst ‘s avonds dicht gedaan, echter stond hij daarna weer open. Gaf ons geen veilig gevoel, gelukkig heeft de kamerdeur 4 sloten!De badkamer was om te huilen. Schimmel tussen de tegels, toiletbril zit los en scheef. Het bedieningspaneel vd douche zit los en je kijkt zo de muur...

'Great, old-style Maine island inn. The beadboard walls, wraparound porch, comfy furniture and spectacular views all add up to make it feel like a classic Maine getaway. The staff is amazing, and attended to our every need. Can't wait to go back!'

'This is a nice little hotel - off of the main streets so it’s quiet. Staff was the friendliest hotel staff I have EVER encountered. super comfortable also. There IS a train, if you don’t like (relatively quiet) trains then don’t get a room on that side. (I love trains)'

'While a little outdated, this was very affordable and within 10 to 15 minutes of what we wanted to see and do in Portland. There is an outside pool, and a light breakfast. You need to ask for housekeeping if you want it, but the bed was comfortable after exploring and walking all day it was fine. Probably the most reasonable place to stay. '

The check in, was wrong, but was not only corrected on site by staff, but was ALSO CHEAPER then the on-line. Fast and completely a satisfying stay!'

'Quite simply one of the loveliest, friendliest hotels I've stayed in for a while - helped by being in the most beautiful of cities. Friendly staff, great decor, spaces to read and work and good food. Room was lovely and spacious. '

'Loved our stay at Longfellow. The amenities were great (highly recommend the spa!) and town car was an added perk we took advantage of. The drinks at the bar were some of the best we had in Portland. We loved the sustainability aspect of the rooms and found the bed to be very comfy.
All communication is done via text and we found the responsiveness to be spotty (anywhere from 5 min to the following day). Other than that, we had an excellent stay and will definitely be returning.'
