Lying in is not an option, since the downstairs back door starts slamming shut regularly from then on (some people want to arrive at the national park before the masses...and behave like the bison they wish to see). 'I loved this staying here! We had our 8 month old with us and we were able to get the feeling of camping with the convenience of having a safe indoor area for her. And I loved that even though we were out and away from everything, it was still only a 10 minute drive to the store! It was perfect!'

'The lodge provides a nice cottage. It is spacious, clean and cozy. It provides a fridge and a small kitchen. The WiFi is somewhat poor, but it is free. There is no air conditioning. Parking is not an issue. Due to stairs it is difficult accessible for some people. The cottage is a bit close to the road and therefore has some noises. The West entrance of Yellowstone is only 30 minutes.
At 8pm the reception closes. Some instructions were send by email to call them if you cannot make it in time....

'Fijne kamer. Wel heel donker ook mede door het afgesloten balkon. Heel schoom alleen het balkon met de hottub was heel zanderig inclusief het tuinsetje wat daar stond. Toch wel een eind naar yellowstone.'

The room was nice with a very comfortable bed and a great bathroom with double showers & sinks! 'Nicely renovated and very clean! The only suggestion I could have is installing minisplit units instead of window shaker type. The window shaker is loud and you have to increase the volume of the TV to hear when is on. Otherwise, this is a very nice property.'

'Nice roomy room with fridge and a coffee maker. Comfortable bed and pillows. Ice machine had plenty of ice. AC kept it comfortable. You could walk to stuff but it’s .3-.5 mile away. So convenient but after a long day of hiking a little too far. But only a short drive. My room was on the street so there was street noise, but they provide ear plugs and an in room noise machine. '
