Een charmant vintage huisje en uitje.
Honden welkom (ze zullen genieten van de omheinde tuin) en op 10 minuten lopen naar het Noordstrand via Solomon Avenue. Gratis WiFi, zitplaatsen in de tuin. De 2e verdieping is de ideale speelplaats en slaapkamer voor kinderen. Vol met prachtige originele kunst en unieke accenten.
North Campbell ligt naast 80E Gastro Pub en de golfkar verhuur. Het historische Tybee Guard House - ideaal voor bruiloften en speciale gelegenheden - ligt 1 straat verderop, net als JC Park voor de kinderen om te spelen! De vuurtoren en het museum van Tybee zijn ook gemakkelijk te voet te bereiken.
Let op: de locatie is residentieel, maar omdat het zo dicht bij de restaurants en het zakelijke district van North End ligt, betekent dit ook dat u tijdens drukke zomerse weekenden en weken dichter bij verkeer en lawaai bent. Als u op zoek bent naar een extreem rustige locatie, dan is dit niet de locatie. Als u meer in het hart van activiteit en dicht bij restaurants en diensten wilt zijn, dan is dit de locatie voor u! The property was clean and management was very responsive and quick to fix issues. It allowed for space for a small family and the kitchen and bedrooms were well equipped. Location was great, but could be loud at times. I do not recommend this cottage and regret booking it, but mermaid cottages as a company greatly owned up to any challenges we had. The cottage appears to have water damage from previous reviews and on observation of ceiling and walls. It had a strong humid and earthy/musty smell, which made it an uncomfortable stay for us due to breathing issues. We were transferred to another cottage as soon as possible based on shared concerns that was perfect and met all expectations! I wish we had booked that one instead. It was clean, decor was cozy and bright, lots of light and backyard space and it made you want to stay there as long as possible. It was called sea casa and I greatly recommend that cottage and mermaid cottages as a company. I hope they continue to work and improve all their cottages the same to make it a widespread experience for everyone.

Roses’s Follie was a nice home and it accommodated us three women and our small dog perfectly. Even though it is located on a busy street, it did not bother us. The beach is within walking distance, and we had two beautiful days to spend at the beach. The fenced yard was convenient for our dog. We did not cook during our stay, but the kitchen is stocked well for those that like to cook during their vacation. Communication with the management company was very easy, and they checked in via text a couple of times during our stay. We enjoyed our stay.

The mermaids were very helpful. They reached out to me when my initial house became unavailable due to plumbing issues and quickly provided options for a new house we could rent for the same weekend. The mermaids also checked in through text during the stay as well to ensure our stay was comfortable.

The cottage was cute and comfortable for my family of three and our dog - who enjoyed the enclosed yard and nearby park. A bit drafty but who knew Tybee would have its coldest temps in decades during our stay? Close enough to the beach and near some great restaurants (Chamacos or Huc-a-Poos, anyone?). Would recommend for those who enjoy charming character in their vacation rentals. Diane and staff were great and even offered an extra day for free. Would rent again.

We absolutely loved our time here! It was a short 3-minute bike ride from the beach, so we were there constantly! The house is cute, and the property managers were excellent. We will definitely be back!

This cottage had everything we needed for a great weekend! The downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable. I suggested they add a light near the key holder to make it easier for late checking to find.

We spent a weekend in Tybee for our annual fossil shark's tooth hunt, and this house was perfect! It was very clean and welcoming, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. As advertised, the house is on a main road and there is quite a bit of traffic that comes by, but it was easy to get in and out of the driveway, and at night people were very respectful of noise levels. It seemed a little quieter than the other side of the island, and I loved being so close to the lighthouse and checking out the historical district. We definitely enjoyed staying here and would stay here again!

We enjoyed our time at Rosie’s Follie! Very friendly staff at the Mermaid cottages with personalized touches such as dropping off beach toys with a welcome note for our 2 year old granddaughter, such a sweet touch! The North area the house is located on was the perfect side to be steeped with history and peaceful moments without all the hustle of the crowds from the south side . This cottage is welcoming and has fun and eclectic art finishes that stir up the imagination . A beautiful piece of history to experience on Tybee Island, highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I were looking for a little weekend getaway and stumbled across Ed this listing on VRBO. We both knew right away that this was the place we wanted stay. Check in was easy, the communication with the rental staff was excellent and they were always there to answer any questions. Not too far from beach access. Would definitely recommend!

My family and I stayed in this delightful little cottage for a long overdue family trip. The decor was bright and lively, eclectic, the house immaculate inside and out. There was a nice large kitchen to cook in and eat in, and the bedrooms were comfy and quiet. Overall, the neighborhood was very quiet, and fantastically positioned to go to North Beach for some sea and sun time. We did have a few small issues that arose ( a stopped bathroom sink and a failed exterior electrical outlet used to charge electric golf cart), but the Mermaids were very friendly and quick to address these issues. Overall, I cannot recommend them enough. I will seek to stay in one of their properties again next trip! Thanks, Mermaids!

We absolutely enjoyed staying in such a historical house, seeing the preservation and beauty and wondering who originally lived here. It was just as described. Super nice neighbors, very convenient. Had a couple questions and received very quick response from the managing company. The only recommendation to the owner would, maybe get a larger TV in the living room 😉 (or maybe we’re just spoiled lol). We will definitely be renting Rosie’s Folie again! Thank you 🙏🏻
