This is Jenna Dotson we will not be staying In this rental we walked in and back out in 5 minutes.. As we entered a very damp nasty smell . There were stains on bed along with bed bugs. There will be a bad review posted as well. As well as the directions are not acceptable.

Short stay for Xmas
Difficult time to get in as we had been given wrong info for lockbox (2 on front and 1 on back), (1.5 hours after arriving) difficulty getting assistance and internet instructions wrong - finally found on back of modem. Once in we appreciated location for grandson to play in park - recommend moving TV close to couch!

Good for a short trip.
The location was good, less than 2 miles from the beach. For the price, everything was just okay. When we did our first walk through, the shower has a hole in it, the stove is not level, the curtains are see through and the bathroom curtains have large holes in them that someone covered up with toilet paper and there may have been mold around the windows. The floors need a really good deep clean.

Overall experience was great…I arrived really late due to weather and had a lot of issues with locating the exact area to the entrance but I CNA honestly be a little directionally challenged lol….listing states 14 it should state 14B would help a little if your in the dark only got to stay the one night for a short period but was overall good

Cute and cozy, perfect for Tybee! Only complaint was we did not know the main house would be rented at the same time we stayed, it was a little startling waking up in bed to a man right at the window (using our outdoor shower) lol

Great location!
The cottage was perfect for a quick getaway. It’s a great space for 2. It was pretty much as described in reviews and photos. The location was excellent, just a short walk to beach, convince store, and the lighthouse. My only issue was the bedding was not clean when we arrived, it smelled sour, and it took a whole day and a half to get assistance on the matter. And the refrigerator is too small and freezes everything you put it.

The water was hot and the kitchen was suitable for cooking and storing food, although it is a mini fridge.

Cozy beach cottage!
Enjoyed staying at this cute little beach cottage! I would agree with the other reviews of this place. The place was clean and looks just like the pictures. Things to know: 1. Coffee pot works - use the outlet next the sink/stove, not the one next to the kitchen light. 2. The shower is small and not made for large people, so use travel size toiletries. 3. Don’t forget bug spray - It’s Georgia and it’s summertime, so the bugs are bittin! 4. Fridge is small but we made it work because the shelves move. Just remember not to take home too many left overs when you go out to eat! 5. Bed is comfy and easy to crawl in and out of at the end.

Minor things would help in a major way
Not bad but definitely 5 star. First the cons...as previous reviews stated, this is not the place you want if you like to cook. The dorm frig is still there (very small). There is not a can opener, dust pan, dish pan to wash dishes, no sharp knives, soup/salad/cereal bowls, a bigger bowl of any kind (we used a pot to make a salad in). The pot and pan selection was limited and the Teflon was coming off a few. The bed is as shown in the pic and not easy to get in and out of. There is a memory foam topper on an older mattress. We used a hair tie to keep the front screen door shut. There is a large house being built very close to this house on the lot next door and also 2 doors down so there is quite a bit of noise and a porta potty out front. The pros....The wifi service is great, neighbors were quiet and this cottage is in a nice neighborhood. It is an easy walk to the beach. There is a great courtyard between this cottage and another house with nice seating areas however this is a shared courtyard. There is easy parking right in the driveway. There were two space heaters which worked well to heat the cottage as two days were very cool.

Amazing for a couples getaway
The place is small, cozy, and great for a couple. Only bad thing was that the shower was a little cold, until we figured out how to use it. Hot and Cold are pretty much reversed. Other than that, we LOVED the place and wish we could live in it!

Very sweet, made for just one or a new couple as the place is small! Very nicely decorated.
I loved this cute cottage. It's a great location and fun place to stay! Would stay again, but a few suggestions: a microwave please! The couch is old and kind of uncomfortable , a nice comfy one would add a lot! In the kitchen, it would be a nice touch to have some bottles of water in frig and salt and pepper. Just my wants, but the place is great!

Cute but don’t plan to cook
I’d really like to give this 3.5 as 3 isn’t really fair. One of our largest reasons for renting homes rather than hotel stays is for the kitchen. Unfortunately, this kitchen fell very short. There was no microwave, the coffee pot didn’t work, no bowls, and no spoons. Luckily, we brought a cooler with us for drinks because the refrigerator was of the mini variety. In addition, there were damages to the unit including broken blinds and curtain rods. The French doors did not have curtains so privacy was limited. On the bright side, the unit has a ton of character and really is super cute. The location is also excellent for walking to dinner or the beach. If we had rented the main house I think we would have been happier with additional kitchen amenities. And the place was clean and had plenty of towels so certainly not all bad.

Great location, cute property but some updates required
We loved how quaint and homey this studio cottage was! We enjoyed the great location near the North Beach access and everything else on Tybee was a short bike ride away. That said, there are a few updates required that hindered our experience. The bed/matress was incredibly uncomfortable for.two people (and I am not typically a stickler for beds). The lack of a full size refrigerator makes it near impossible to store much food. The kitchen is quite small and difficult to cook much, so I wouldn't plan on cooking many meals during any stays Overall was a really nice stay but a couple updates could really make this an incredible spot on Tybee

Needs some fixes but management is awesome
Not bad but not good enough for 5 stars. 1st off let start with the cons... owners should consider a full size refrigerator. Also we killed over 12 spiders im guessing from doors not being sealed good. Bed is horrible and squeaks and is not comfortable at all. Also was not the cleanest and owners need to stay on top of and check behind house keeping.. bathroom shower is ridiculously small.. if you are taller, do not rent this unless you plan on using outdoor shower only. Also patio furniture on front deck needs to be better maintained.. Now on to pros.. Property looks just as advertised.. management was amazing and was there to answer all calls and needs. Property management is the reason I can still give 3 stars... Neighbors were quiet and my wife was able to walk outside at night and feel secure. Price was what persuaded us to stay there and all in all it is not bad. It's different but with some minor fixes this will be an amazing vacation rental for anyone.
