Bay View ligt direct in het centrum van het dorp Benllech en is een gezellig, onlangs gerenoveerd pand met karakteristieke kenmerken. Het is een kindvriendelijk huis met 3 slaapkamers, houten vloeren, een nieuwe keuken, nieuwe familiebadkamer en nieuwe ensuite. De lounge heeft een houtkachel voor gezellige nachten en er is een omheinde tuin aan de achterzijde van het pand.

Schone, ruime en gezinsvriendelijke accommodatie in een dorp aan zee. Een mooi, hondvriendelijk, met een blauwe vlag bekroond strand ligt op slechts een korte loopafstand (2-5 minuten).

Prachtig gelegen voor gezinnen, wandelaars, golfers en watersportliefhebbers, met het eiland met een scala aan activiteiten voor mensen van alle niveaus en leeftijden. De accommodatie biedt uitzicht op de baai van Benllech en het nationale park Snowdonia, dat zich op slechts 30 minuten rijden bevindt.

Het ligt in het mooie kustplaatsje Benllech. Het is een rookvrij huisdiervriendelijk huis met 3 slaapkamers op een privélocatie net buiten de A5025. De accommodatie ligt in het centrum van het dorp, op slechts een korte wandeling van het strand. Het kustpad loopt langs het strand naar de prachtige baai van Red Wharf, waar u kunt kiezen uit verschillende pubs / cafés met een drankvergunning.

Benllech dorp is goed verzorgd in termen van winkels etc. Er zijn 3 supermarkten, een bekroonde vis- en frietkraam, Chinese, Indiase afhaalrestaurants, 3 pubs, een bibliotheek, veel onafhankelijke winkels met lokale producten en cadeaus enz. Plus artsen chirurgie, tandartsen, geldautomaten, speelhal met jeu de boules baan, tennisbanen, jeu de boules baan en een speeltuin voor de kinderen. Verderop ligt het historische Beaumaris met zijn 13e-eeuwse kasteel en de Plays Newydd van de National Trust. 5 golfbanen, vissen en zeevissen zijn ook lokaal beschikbaar. Winkel 200 yards, pub 150 yards, restaurant 100 yards ...

Perfect location in the centre of town, and a good size accommodation. But quite tired and a little grimy. Sticky corners and we had to wash a lot of the kitchen equipment before we used it which was a little off-putting. The whole place would be perfect after a deep clean!

Location was fantastic for us with local amenities all within walking distance. The Bennlech pub opposite serves fantastic food. However, we were all very disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. We contacted the owner on arrival as there was lots of spilt food in the bottom of the oven. The owner never replied. The kitchen in general was very dirty which put us off the rest of the property. There was mould all over the kitchen windows and blinds, the house smells very musty.

Location of the property was perfect , close to the beach, supermarkets, fish and chip shops , take aways and pubs. The property was clean and tidy and well equipped. Our grandchildren loved playing in the garden. Plenty of room for all the family, even our sausage dog, Sid!

No parking at the property, but car park very close. However had to ensure purchased a ticket before 8am which was £3 a day, so not bad, just inconvenience with unloading luggage etc. A few tweeks would make the accommodation as good as the location.

First impressions the house needs a good clean and paint job. The front of the house looks scruffy with overflowing bins. The back garden was enclosed with previous occupants rubbish left behind for us to clear up. Had to bleach the kitchen sink which literally changed colour once clean. The house is in a good location and once you get there don’t have to use the car. Be careful with parking they have put parking fees on display now. I think it was overpriced for the condition of the house. Needs lots of tlc.

Property has everything you need for a lovely stay

Although we struggled to find the property, after a quick call to the property manager we were soon in. The car park is a little way from the property and we were unable to park outside to unload the car due to double yellow lines (5 adults, so lots of luggage :)) so this was a small inconvenience, but not too much of a problem (the car park is free, which is a bonus). We had a last minute message to say we needed to take our own bed covers (due to Covid), so just to give you the heads up so that you have some ready to take. Inside, the property has good sized rooms, with comfortable beds and room for all of us in the living room and at the dining table. House was very warm and has a beautiful log burner (although we didn't need to use it as we had lovely weather). All the local shops and eateries that we tried were great. Tesco Express, an Indian, Chinese, Chip Shop, fresh crab, a lovely couple of pubs and restaurants. I think there was also pizza. The beach was lovely, but be warned, it's a very steep hill! You can drive and park at the bottom but the walk is not for the faint hearted. All in all, this was a lovely spot, in quite a bustling village which gave us easy access for touring North Wales. Go to Penmon Point (just a short drive from Beaumaris) to see the lovely lighthouse, Puffin Island, a wonderful pebble beach and the excellent The Pilot House Cafe (including two of the most gorgeous sheepdogs we've ever met - wanted to bring them home).

Not as nice as the photos suggest

I hope the owner takes this as a constructive review. First impression of the property when you arrive at the front door area is awful. Dirty and shabby small concrete area with a few uneven steps and no handrail with over flowing rubbish bins. I understand that the refuse collection service isnt that great there, but, in my opinion, the rubbish should still have been removed by the owner knowing there were people arriving. On entering the property we found it very shabby too every where. There was a really terrible smell of dirty mops in every room, which we couldnt get rid of. But seeing the mop we understood why! Cleaning the floors with mops that are not disinfected is not the best practice and doesnt get the floors clean! Also it would help to periodically put bleach down the shower, sink and bath plug holes too. This is something that holiday makers should not even have consider doing. The road traffic noise was horrendous too, none stop! The worst part for us was the over grown back garden! Walls and fencing delapitated, unswept, totally a mess. Weeds over a foot high everywhere. Dried out hanging baskets from LAST summer. It was a total miserable mess and nothing like the photos. So we couldnt sit out in the back garden either. So in our opinion we cannot recommend staying at this property

Great cottage right in the centre of the village

The house was perfect for our group of two adults and four teenagers. The bedrooms are all a really good size and the kitchen had everything we needed. The small garden is a bonus too as it catches the sun. The location is brilliant - we know Benllech well and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in an around the village. The owner, Crystal, was great with all of the booking arrangements. Highly recommended. Don't miss the fish & chips from Golden Fry if you come here!

Great cosy little place to stay in Benllech Bay

We had a great week here. The house is perfectly situated for easy access to the beach. We went out walking along the coastal path too. The house has little garden with a bench to sit and eat outside, which was lovely. The Golden Fry and The Talent House, just opposite and around the corner, are absolute musts.

Lovely sized house with all you need for your stay....Enclosed garden great if you have dogs [but could do with a tidy up] Close to all amenities and a nice easy stroll down to the beach [bit more of a pull coming back up] the only downside for us was the traffic noise, hadn't realised it was on such a busy road... But very enjoyable stay.
