Check in was a little rough because they couldn't find our confirmation and also because we couldn't find the actual place. Make sure you tell your driver Karma house and that they repeat karma and not karna, as there is a karna house on the other side of the main road and down a bit. That's where we were dropped off. No one really knows the name of the streets so if that does end up happening to you, get yourself to tropical restaurant and grill. You'll see the signs for the homestay. It's five minutes walk behind the restaurant. There's a lot of construction going on so if you like a bit of a lie in, might want to rethink that. The main hostess is quite helpful with booking activities for you if you need but we later found you can do things a lot cheaper if you go book them yourself. We are talking about a $10 difference so up to you if you're on a strict budget. They don't clean your rooms while you're there so be careful with your towels and the state of your room as you'll be responsible for it. There's no air con, but I felt I didn't really need it. The ceiling fan is pretty strong. The breakfast is nice and any time you come back from an activity they'll ask you if you need coffee or tea. Perfect little getaway for anyone on a bit of a budget.
