The room we stayed in was the Saraswati Royal with great Balinese art deco and a lovely outdoor shower. Breakfasts were great next to the lotus pong in the temple. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had massages everyday while we were staying with them and they were great.

I can’t say enough about my ENTIRE experience at this authentically Balinese property💗‼️ My mini sabbatical was the BEST I could have EVER have asked for😘!! The serenity and ambiance was an ABSOLUTE balm and rejuvenation for my soul🙏. And the staff . . . they were such authentic and beautiful souls! They treated me like family, and made sure this Solo female felt safe at all times. Special shout out to my Balenese “sister”, Puspa who took special care of me. Hope I see you once again, Puspa👋🥰. A very unique and beautiful property
This is a beautiful property in a unique location. The rooms have a beautiful Balinese feel but with all the modern creature comforts. The staff are great especially Ketut the driver and the reception staff.

2019年10月現在は、まだ建設中の施設が残っていた。 そんな状況なので施設はとても新しいです。 ウルワツ寺院までは徒歩5分程度です。ケチャダンスを見てから歩いて帰ってこられるのは良いと思いました。 また、スタッフに頼むとスクーター(サーフボードキャリア付)をレンタルしてもらえました。スクーターだと10分程度でSuluban Surf Beachに行けます。

Die Anlage liegt super zentral in Ubud und für Ausflüge in die Umgebung von Ubud. Die Aussenanlage hat einen schönen Palmen- und Pflanzenbestand. Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern lässt allerdings schwer zu wünschen übrig. Das Kopfteil unseres Bettes war total versifft. Die Bettwäsche hatte viele undefinierbare Flecken. Die Toilette sah aus, als wurde sie die letzten 10 Jahre nicht geputzt mit lauter dunklen Streifen. An der Nachttischlampe waren diverse klebrige Laufspuren, von welcher Flüssigkeit auch immer. Die Tischdecken beim Frühstück waren immer mit Fettflecken und die Frühstücksauswahl war mehr als übersichtlich.

立地はいいです! 建物の古さはしかたないですね。 洗面台に蟻がでます。初日にバスタブにお湯を溜めたところ、蟻が何匹も浮いていました。 4泊しましたが、夜にテラスにいたところ、蚊取り線香を付けに来てくれたのは1回のみで、持参した蚊取り線香を使っていました。 朝食も、フルーツサラダ、フレッシュジュース、トースト、卵料理、バナナパンケーキorフレンチトースト、コーヒーor紅茶からの選択で、インドネシア 料理はありません。 通りに面していますが、敷地内は静かです。 若いスタッフは感じがいいですが、年配の男性スタッフで、カーチャーターなどをしつこくすすめてくる人がいました。 他のサイトで書かれていたので、すぐにこの人だとわかりました。 総合的に、値段も安いので仕方がないと思いますが、リピートはないです。

Kurzaufenthalt in Ubud
Ubud ist auf jeden Fall sehenswert, doch nach einer Woche Ruhe im Nordwesten Balis empfanden wir die vielen Menschen, das Gedränge auf dem Bürgersteig und das ständige penetrante Anpreisen von Leistungen ("Taxi?", "Massage?", "Dinner?") etwas anstrengend. Das Hotel liegt für einen zweitägigen Kurzaufenthalt ideal - man hat die Läden, Cafés und Restaurants direkt vor der Türe, ist aber auch in 10 Minuten im Grünen. Das Hotel war etwas abgewohnt und man sollte besser nicht hinter die Nachttische schauen. Zudem störte uns, dass ein Mitarbeiter mehrmals anbot, uns in die Reisfelder zu begleiten (als eine Art Guide, gegen Bezahlung), obwohl wir ihm bereits gesagt hatten, dass wir das nicht wollen. Anschließend war er fast schon unhöflich. Hier wäre etwas mehr Zurückhaltung wünschenswert.

The owner of the hotel also owns the temple right beside it but she charges 8$ per adults and also for kids even if you are staying in the hotel. They really need to change the toilet seat. The bathroom was dirty, lot's of ants. Water not draining when you shower. Mosquitos get into the room at night. Breakfast was ok. I will not stay in this hotel again.

Beautiful, Historic and perfectly located
I loved this property. It was so well located and surrounded by historic buildings (including the property itself). Quite the experience. Everything was very good except our room was not too clean. The floor had dirt when we walked in and each day. I normally walk barefoot, but had to wear flip flops to avoid stuff sticking to the souls of our feet. The tub was not too clean either. There was red algae showing between the tiles. Cleaning is the only thing this hotel failed on. The rest was really fantastic. I would stay again.

The hotel I can not recommend
On our arrival in the bathroom was an assortment of large and small ants. In the room we were stung several times by mosquitoes.Under the air-conditioning was a puddle on the floor. This has been reported 3 times. Every time the puddle was wiped away. Around midnight the noise of the air conditioning was unbearably noisy, that we had to call the front desk. It was found that the noise was caused by ice in the air conditioning system. The air conditioning system was switched off and also switched on again, but the air conditioning system only blinked and worked no more. It was said that when the ice is melted, it would work again. But this did not happen all night, which made the room unbearably warm in the room, so we could not sleep properly anymore.There was no excuse for it.

Lovely traditional hotel and great well appointed rooms. The staff were incredibly helpful organising trips and sharing details of the Hindu new years day celebrations. They arranged taxi to our next hotel They also looked after us during the day of silence.

Basically our stay was disappointing. The image depicted in the web site was nothing like reality. We are three adults and were given a bungalow type room, which was way too small for three adults. The air con struggled & the wifi was intermittent and kept dropping out. The intrusive breakfast wait staff got to be annoying as all we wanted to do was discuss our days plans. On the positive side I had an issue with the safety deposit box key and the young man at reception was extremely helpful. So thank you again.

Smukt og historisk homestay
Puri Saraswati er et smukt og historisk Puri (familiegård), som tilhører en del af det gamle kongepalads i Ubud. Det er derfor et sted der bringer minderne frem om hvordan Ubud tog sig ud år tilbage. Komforten er helt i top og i overenstemmelse med hvad man kan forvente i denne prisklasse. Personalet i restauranten var dog ikke særligt service mindede, og det gjorde at vi ikke spiste der mere end højst nødvendigt. Stedet har anlagt en god cool, der virkelig kan gøre gavn efter en lang dag i Ubuds varme og intense byliv.

Beautiful hotel near centre of Ubud. Would return!
My husband and I enjoyed our experience at Puri Saraswati Bungalows. We would definitely recommend to everyone. It is in an ideal location in the heart of Ubud. The rooms and the grounds are beautiful. The grounds are right on the main road, but we couldn't hear the traffic or noise from our room. It is connected to the Temple Pura Taman Saraswati and Café Lotus and just a five minute walk to Ubud Palace. The staff were very friendly and very helpful as well! We can't say enough good things about this place!
