This could have been a great place to stay
Spacious rooms and excellent location close to nature and facilities in Ucluelet. I can definitely see this as a great place to stay while exploring this beautiful part of the island. Even with reduced housekeeping services for due to COVID measures, the room was not completely clean on arrival; smudge on the seats and carpet and the guardrail along the stairs and the handle of the refrigerator were sticky. Nowadays you expect this to be disinfected with extra care. We took a towel and cleaned this ourselves but I hope this will be improved for future guests. The furniture in the room is a bit poor. Very simple and not very comfortable, although the beds were OK. But a bit more comfortable seating, a closet or drawer would be a great addition. The building (at least building number 2) is very noisy. Movement in rooms on the same floor can be noticed and conversations of guests in adjacent rooms can be heard as well. Unfortunately the guests in the room next to ours had a pleasant evening/night as they were awake and playing music until 4am, and having conversations on the balcony. We were not able to sleep because of this, which made our night and subsequent day not so pleasant. Despite the no-noise policy, no staff/security was present to supervise what is happening in the evening or at night at the complex. When checking out, the member on duty did not respond decisively to our report. It seems that this person was lacking some experience/training in hospitality.

It’s all you need. Has a small kitchen you can use to make snacks or a meal. Very close to the heart of ukee. Beautiful views, lots of parking and it’s dog friendly!

Clean and quiet accommodation. As seniors we found all of the steps to access the rooms, challenging while handling our luggage. The steps to all levels in the rooms was also challenging. Would not recommend for anyone that had any access issues.

Really enjoyed the Harbour Master Suite and the size of the space. Great to have separate sleeping spaces and a dining room table to work and eat on. Needs better lighting in the living room and dining room spaces as there was none. The lights from the bed and hallway are too small and far away to light the living spaces.

My family returned to this hotel for the third time. Every time we have been greeted by the wonderful staff and enjoyed a quiet, relaxing time in our cozy hotel room. The room has lots of space, is clean and close enough to walk to restaurants and downtown. We will be returning for Ucluelet for another visit and will be once again booking here.

The front desk staff was quite helpful to bring us plates and forks upon request, and it was nice to be able to borrow some board games to play too. Even though we got an room upgrade, we didn't really like the creaking sounds of the wooden floor, especially when my kids walk on the upper level.

Good location & really enjoyed the room facing the marina. Room was also very spacious. There were a few unexpected issues with the building…the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything! Bring your ear plunges unless you enjoy getting to know your neighbours.lol Also watch out for the ‘resort tax’. In addition to pst and fat there is also a regional tourism tax!

We were pleasantly surprised by a room upgrade when we arrived. The property was a little dated but very clean. We were on ground level so it was noisy due to the family staying above us letting their kids run around pretty much the whole time they were in the room.

The staff was super friendly and I was upgraded to a loft without a change in fee. I didn’t need the room but it was lovely and clean and a great view. A bit of noise above me but not for long. So happy I made it to the Wild Pacific!
