The View is also amazing, there were dozens of Elk on the mountain just across the road. I'd recommend Cabin in the Country to Everyone.'

'As others have noted, this "hotel" is perfect for those looking for a place with character and a space to relax (not just a bed). When vacationing, we tend to eat out during the day, but prefer to eat a light meal at night. The full kitchen had everything we needed (including an electric kettle to easily make tea). We were also able to do a load of laundry. Way better than staying at those chain hotels. All communication is done remotely, which was easy to follow. The owner even provided...

'This property is excellent. Very extremely well kept inside and comfortably decorated. My bed was very comfortable. Outside left a little to be desired. I had to sweep all the walk ways and deck. But that is part of living in a bunch of trees. The fireplace was very cozy and warm and the additional heat it every room was great. Could use a light on the stairs up the back to the upper bedroom. It was a terrific Christmas for me and my adult children. Thank you.DH '
