'Clean room! Friendly Staff!'

'I got stuck in an FAA ground stop in Seattle. I was rebooked on a flight that was supposed to land in Oakland at 9 pm, then delayed to 11, then to 2 am. I called the hotel and explained, promising to be there ASAP. I landed at 4 am and went straight to the hotel, where a man behind the desk informed me my reservation was cancelled. I tried to explain but was interrupted and given a lecture about being on time. I asked if I could still get a room, I had been traveling 23 hours. He said yes but...

'We had to pay $23 per night for parking which we didn’t know about in advance. The bathroom in the room was….. interesting. The toilet was technically in its own room however it had a stall-type door that was open at the top and bottom. Sorry, but I want complete privacy for any toilet business. The shower was great though, we loved the rain head shower. The bed was very comfortable. Location was quiet. Had a large bar in the common/check in area downstairs which was honestly the reason...

'From the check in to check out, this hotel was amazing! Wonderful, friendly staff who went above and beyond for our little dancers (we stayed for a dance convention in the area). Clean, beautiful property. The pool area was fun for the kids and adults both! Extremely clean rooms and nicely stocked with everything we needed. The restaurant and bar were amazing as well. Great location. We’ll definitely return!'

'Laundry costs $5.25 to wash and $5.25 for the dryer. No laundry detergent available, but staff did eventually provide me with detergent at no charge. Staff is trying. No real breakfast, just weak coffee and hot chocolate available. No kitchenware at all. Not a spoon. No coffee machine. Shampoo available at front desk. Place is okay if you just need a clean bed and shower for the night. It's inexpensive.'
