In the centre of Umag, to visit the museum, the aquarium, the cathedral, we recommend a walk along the famous Umag dam, to explore the narrow and interesting streets of the historic centre of Umag, or to visit the stalls and, to the delight of the children, the playground right by the sea. The supermarket is 100 metres from the house. To buy a larger amount of groceries, it is better to walk a few kilometres to the largest and most convenient supermarkets such as Lidl, Spar, Kaufland or Plodine.There are various leisure facilities nearby: Tennis courts, the Adriatic Golf Club with 18 holes, horse riding, water sports, night clubs, adrenaline park, mini golf course, fishing. It is also possible to go on various organised excursions by boat or bus. The area is full of renowned restaurants, simple restaurants, pizzerias, fast food restaurants and bars. We recommend visiting the Istrian hinterland for days away from the beach or to spend the evenings. Very interesting the artist village Grožnjan, Motovun the typical medieval town situated on a hill and famous for the film festival that takes place every year at the end of July, the village Livade very famous for its white truffle. For cave lovers, visit the Baredine cave. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Hum, the smallest town in the world, just 60 kilometres from Umag. Also interesting are the places on the coast such as the Brijuni National Park, Pula, Rovinj and Poreč.
