The famous pebble beach Kanegra is also easily reachable on foot (1500 m), near the La Parenzana cycle path for cycling lovers along which it will be a joy to admire the wonders of western Istria. In a few minutes by car you can reach excellent restaurants offering excellent typical Istrian fish and meat menus, the city center of Umag and the market. The comfortable holiday home offers on the ground floor a large living room with satellite TV, two comfortable sofas, tables and armchairs, an exit to the terrace and garden, free Wi-Fi internet access, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with dishwasher, oven, refrigerator with freezer area, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, extractor hood, 4 electric ceramic hobs, dining table with six seats, a bathroom with shower, bidet, sink, washing machine, ironing board, hairdryer and outside the window, two bath towels per person provided (changed weekly), from the lounge an internal solid wood staircase leads to the upper floor. In the center of Umag to visit the museum, the aquarium, the cathedral, a walk along the famous Umag Dam is recommended, to explore the narrow and interesting alleys of the old town, or visit the stalls and to the delight of children the playground on the waterfront. To buy a larger quantity of food it is better to walk a few kilometers to the larger and more convenient supermarkets such as Lidl, Spar, Kaufland or Plodine. Nearby there are various leisure possibilities: tennis courts, the Adriatic Golf Club with 18 holes, horse riding, water sports, night clubs, adrenaline park, mini-golf course, fishing. It is also possible to take various organized trips by boat or by bus. The area is full of renowned restaurants, simple restaurants, pizzerias, fast food restaurants, bars. We recommend visiting the Istrian hinterland for days off the beach or to spend the evenings. Very interesting is the artists' village Grožnjan, Motovun the typical medieval town located on a hill and known for the film festival which takes place every year at the end of July, the village of Livade very well known for its white truffle. For cave lovers to visit the Baredine cave. Don't miss the chance to visit Hum the smallest city in the world just 60 km from Umag. Also interesting are the places on the coast such as the NP Brijuni, Pula, Rovinj and Poreč.
