Welcome to Haus Am Deich

A cozy, well-furnished vacation home with an open kitchen and a large natural lot.

On the spacious terrace with a parasol, you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast or wind down the day with a glass of wine.

The large property offers plenty of space for activities and play. In the beach chair, you can enjoy the island’s natural idyll or simply read a book.

Your vehicle will find a sheltered spot in our large carport.

There are two bedrooms in the house. One bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed, where an additional cot can be set up if needed. The second bedroom has two single beds.

The spacious living room features a TV and a small stereo system. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink, toilet, and a washing machine.

In the kitchen, you’ll find a fridge-freezer, an oven, a stove with a ceramic cooktop, a toaster, a kettle, and a coffee maker.

The house has Wi-Fi via a fiber-optic connection, ideal for working from home.

Please note that smoking is not permitted inside the house.

The swimming area with a sunbathing lawn on the Bodden is about 800 meters away.

In the tranquil village of Gingst, about 6 km away, you’ll find, among other things, a grocery store, a well-stocked bookstore, a small café serving ice cream, and two restaurants.

Near the house, you can explore the idyllic countryside of Ummanz, whether on foot or by bike. Enjoy the peace and beauty of nature, or watch birds and other wildlife.

Ummanz covers an area of about 20 square kilometers, making it the second-largest island in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen after Rügen. It is part of the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park. Nature lovers and cycling tourists will find plenty to enjoy here. The surrounding area features a very well-developed network of bike paths and numerous hiking trails. It’s only a few kilometers to the Sörtebek Festival in Ralswiek. In the fall, thousands of cranes stop over on Ummanz during their flight south. Bird lovers shouldn’t miss this spectacle.
