    Step into your own slice of lakeside paradise. Guests enjoy 100 feet of private shoreline, perfect for morning coffee by the water, lazy afternoons in the sun, and unforgettable sunset views that paint the sky in gold and rose.

    Right next door, Ruggles Park adds even more to explore — a community beach, basketball court, and fishing pier make it a natural playground for families, friends, and anyone who loves the outdoors. (Pack a cooler and grab a lawn chair to make the moment even sweeter.)

    Please note pets are not permitted, and there are no lifeguards on duty.

    Comfortable, Simple, and Made for Unplugging
    The Hummingbird Cottage includes:
    • 2 bedrooms (1 full bed + 1 twin/full bunk)
    • Pull out sofa for extra sleeping space
    • 1 bathroom
    • Kitchen with range and refrigerator
    • Cozy porch for sunrise coffee or evening breezes
    • A TV although we encourage you to disconnect

    Heating comes from electric radiator heaters in each bedroom and a wall heater in the main room. For warm days, a whole house fan and additional circulating fans keep the cottage cool and comfortable.

    Shared Amenities at The Pier
    Guests enjoy access to a variety of outdoor spaces designed for gathering, cooking, and relaxing:
    • Covered pavilion for picnics and outdoor meals
    • Two charcoal grills (bring your own charcoal)
    • One propane grill (propane provided)
    • Two shared fire rings right at the lakefront
    • On site parking for one vehicle
    • Shared dock for launching kayaks and paddleboards

    Bring your own gear or rent locally — just remember that lifejackets are required on PA Fish & Boat Commission lakes. As always, no lifeguards are present.

    The Pier’s water supply is fully potable, treated through a PA DEP approved system that’s chlorinated, softened, and tested monthly for safety.

Very friendly owners great place. Our disappointment was not with the property. We were looking forward to being able to rent a boat and spend time with kids swimming and fishing but this is no longer available. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway I highly recommend.

Great location right on the lake. Easy check in and check out. Great communication from the host warning us about to cold morning forecast. We look forward to staying there again.

Overall, it is a wonderful little property right on the lake. We were able to rent all of the tiny houses on the property for a weekend full of memories. Thank you for having us!

Reunion stay

Wonderful place to stay. The mattress is terrible but when you are so tired at end of day it doesn't matter ..until you wake up with back pain...

The cottage is beautiful and being right on the lake is so nice. Some people might be worried about no air conditioning but the breeze is so great and the house fan works so well we didn’t even notice. The house was clean and other renters near the house were friendly. The house is almost connected to a cafe that had great food but only open for lunch and dinner. Firewood isn’t provided but we bought some from the kwiki full gas station up the road. The owner let us check in early which was very helpful for us to drop off our stuff and food because we had to be at softball games for the evening. It’s very relaxing sitting on the lake near a fire at night.

This is an adorable and very clean cottage right on the lake. Although it says it sleeps seven that would be for smaller kids just keep that in mind. The couch in the living room is small not full size as we tried to sleep an adult on it closed and we could not fit and in the inside of the sleeper couch it has a spider /spider eggs and just needed a new fitted mattress protector as ir was dirty, so we were not comfortable with using the inside of it as a bed as we had hoped. The rest of the place was spotless. As always anywhere we go the mattresses are always a disappointment and the bottom bunk was really difficult to sleep on that mattress.

Great experience!

We stayed at the lake for a mini family reunion and everything was great! Location was fantastic…within walking distance of Frog Pond. House had everything that we needed for the stay. The pavilion was an added bonus to the property. I would highly recommend staying at this property. Looking for great pizza give The Anchor a try👍

Beautiful and right on the lake! The sunsets were amazing and it was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed every minute of it! Walking distance for most people to Happi Jax and the Frog Pond. We also enjoyed putt putt golf at two different spots! We rented kayaks and a pontoon boat as well. It was wonderful!

Little piece of Heaven

We really enjoyed our stay at the hummingbird cabin. The host was quick to respind to any concerns or questions. The neighbor's were sweet and welcoming. The restaurant down the lake was a great vibe for everyone. We had 2 adults 2 teens and 2 kids and we slept comfortably. 10/10 would stay here again.

Beautiful little cabin on the lake

Hidden Jewel on Lake Canadoha! The property was impeccably clean, and everything that was included worked perfectly. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. But what truly stole the show was the setting itself. The location on the lake was breathtakingly beautiful and incredibly peaceful. It was exactly the tranquility we were searching for. We sincerely hope to be able to return and stay here again in the future. Thank you so much, Tamara, for your hospitality!
