'Het altijd fijn om in een typisch engels aangekleed hotel te zitten met overal vloerbedekking en niet alles even strak is. Huiselijk. Wat tegen viel was 1. Het ontbijt. Geen vers fruit en of beleg. 2 de douches: geen waterdruk in de kamer waar ik zat. 3. Het bed. Dit was enigszin doorgelgd en voelde de veren in mijn zijde.'

'Me and my colleague stayed at Hunters Lodge for 3 nights in 2 rooms. The furniture is really outdated but it was very clean and the bed was comfy. First the electric switch for my sky light (the only window in the room) was broken and the room was boiling hot. 'Vriendelijk ontvangen en verzorgd(ontbijt) door de eigenaresse. Verder was onze kamer net gerenoveerd. De kamer was ruim genoeg en zag er netjes uit. Er is een gedeelde badkamer die er verder ook netjes uit ziet. Het (Engelse) ontbijt, wat elke ochtend verzorgd wordt, was erg lekker. '

'Property was perfect for us. We needed somewhere close to the hospital for an early morning op and it was perfect. Saved a taxi fare by being able to walk. Recommended. '

'Me and my friend booked this place as it was quite close to where we shared a house as students 6 years ago and the charm was the same, for us it was a familiar and comfortable stay - the staff were lovely and helpful too, rooms were very nice and it was great value for the pricing.
If you don't mind a shared shower, toilets and kitchen area, definitely give it a go.
My one critique of the house was that the door locks were a little finicky, a few times me and a few other guests got stuck...

The tiny light on wall had no bulb in and was rusty and dirty. Room was dirty no wonder it was £30 for a night'

'Just a bed really pics not as we saw when arrived , pillows non existent the towels were thicker than the pillows , toilet dirty with stains in pan. Mattress old and poor quality wall where pillows used to be stained and dirty, front door lock broken and had to use key lock to get in .

"Hotel need maintenance, staff was ok but not to friendly. Good location near city center and Cruise terminal."
"The accommodatie was relatief goedkoop maar erg minimaal. De kamers waren klein. Er was geen stoel aanwezig maar die paste er ook niet. De wastafel zou beter in een toilet gepast hebben. Maar het was schoon en de bedden waren voor twee personen geschikt"
"Het hotel zag er leuk en modern uit en het publiek was gemêleerd qua leeftijd e.d., dus is fijn voor iedereen. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was prima, niet uitzonderlijk, maar gewoon goed. Er was altijd plek om lekker te zitten. De bedden vonden we wat aan de zachte kant en het was redelijk warm in de kamer. Een raam openen gaf dan wel weer wat verkeersgeluiden, maar al met al prima voor een weekendje weg om als uitvalsbasis te fungeren om in de omgeving dingen te gaan bekijken. Een kwartier lopen naar het treinstation, maar neem vooral een Bolt taxi: amper duurder en veel sneller!!"
