'We stayed in a ground floor suite near the dining hall and that was very convenient for seniors like us. Our suite was very clean and very nicely furnished.
To me, the outstanding feature of the resort was the behaviour of the staff. They always greeted us with a smile. They never expected tips unlike their counterparts in bigger cities.
The big open ground inside the resort was very nicely maintained and excellent for morning walks. We didn’t use the gym or spa area, but they looked good....

'We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Bengal Hotel. The rooms , bathrooms and other areas of the hotel were very clean. The staff were very friendly and answered all our queries. The restaurant has great food and is reasonably priced. I would recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Bolpur'

'This property is rural with lots of greenery and trees, a peaceful break from horns and busy streets noises. There are no amenities within walking distance. The onsite restaurant offers food with pre-order, but though a time was set for breakfast they did not start preparing it until we were seated, sometimes taking 30 minutes for the food to arrive. '

'I paid for my attorney to stay at that property. There was no phone in the room, TV did not work they had to send someone to fix the TV every time she wanted to watch. The generator only keeps 1 light and a fan on. I will never use that hotel again.'
