'Fantastic hotel in the heart of the town. Very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. On Arrival we was greeted by the staff and gave us welcome drinks which was very nice. Plate of fruits was also provided in the room.
In my opinion it is better than the 5 star hotel near sylhet Airport which is middle of nowhere.'

We had booked 3 rooms as a family and as it was during the protests/riots recently the hotel was practically empty so we got the pick of the rooms. Sanzina at reception really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. 'Under good management. Staff caring and responsive to the needs of guests and service conforms within the star rating. Airport transfers are included on some bookings. It was great for me, a foreigner, to share accommodation and to be able to travel with my 3 Bangladeshi friends which provided me with extra security. When we had to depart early morning kitchen staff kindly prepared breakfast for us outside of the normal time - thank you for that!'

'Astoundingly loud location and the room had zero insulation from the street noise. The bed was rock hard (though that’s not uncommon for Bangladesh), nearly zero water pressure and fuzzy TV channels.
The “airport shuttle” listed in the amenities is actually a 20x over-priced taxi they arrange and bill you for after - cost almost as much as the room... and zero room for negotiation despite the fact that it was a totally non-transparent expense.
The breakfast buffet was nice enough with Bangla...

We booked a hotel based on what was shown on the website, but upon arrival, we were given a completely different hotel — Al Ebraj Hotel — which looks nothing like the photos on the booking site. They told us this is our hotel, but it does not match what we originally booked.
