'Stayed four nights. It was a great base camp for exploring the area. The breakfast was great with lots of options. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Ty room was nice and the balcony was a bonus. Our only complaint is that the bed was hard and the pillows were harder but we ran into that issue all over northern Italy.'

'Overall an enjoyable stay for 2 nights. It’s close to Lago do Braies and bus 442 runs through this charming town. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen had basic utensils, pots and pans. Outdoor parking was easy and pretty spacious. There’s two grocery stores steps away. I wish they had more communication about the saunas requiring you to be nude. This caught me by surprise since I was looking forward to using the facilities after some long hikes but ultimately I was uncomfortable....

'We loved our stay at Hotel Sonne in Gais. The location of the hotel is great : bus stop just in front of the hotel (and we get free bus pass during our stay, thanks to the hotel staff!), near Brunico. The breakfast is EXCELLENT, the room is clean and has everything we needed. Definitely recommend for those who want to visit the Dolomites!'
