Cozy "Kleine Auszeit" studio 🌱—inviting atmosphere + terrace + garden, various extras

Pure relaxation: You can unwind in our "Kleine Auszeit" studio apartment on the Abelitz Canal in Upgant-Schott. This modern, cozy ground-floor apartment offers everything you need for a wonderful vacation for two. Dogs are welcome (€10.00 per night per dog).

The spacious, modern room features a kitchenette with a kitchen island, a dining table with two comfortable chairs, a living area with a TV and a cozy sofa, as well as a double bed and a closet. The hallway, which includes a coat rack, leads to the adjoining bathroom. This bathroom was redesigned for Christmas 2024.
Soft hand towels and bath towels are provided for you.
The microwave and the refrigerator with a freezer compartment are located in the hallway so you can enjoy a quiet night’s sleep.

A direct entrance leads to the terrace and the adjoining fenced-in garden. Here you’ll find a grill, perfect for planning a wonderful evening of grilling. In the summer, you can spend relaxing hours here.
You’ll be staying in a rural setting and can occasionally catch a glimpse of our two Galloway cows.
The unspoiled Abelitz Canal borders the property. It’s one of East Frisia’s fishing waters. From our private dock, you can set out in a two-person kayak by prior arrangement. You can also enjoy wonderful sunsets here.

The vacation rental is centrally located, making it a great starting point for various day trips, including to the East Frisian islands. Two bicycles can be provided upon request.
The surrounding area offers plenty of cultural attractions. In Emden, you’ll find the Kunsthalle; in Norddeich, the seal sanctuary and the Waloseum; Greetsiel (the most beautiful sluice in East Frisia) with its charming harbor; and Aurich has a great climbing forest... In addition, there are plenty of lighthouses, windmills, water parks, and much more. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have.
For travelers with dogs: There’s a dog beach in Norddeich and a dog meeting area in Osteel.

The ICE train station in Marienhafe is about 2 km away. By prior arrangement at (04934 9108454), we’d be happy to pick you up from there and take you back.
For travelers arriving by car, a parking space is available.

For bookings received at least 6 months before your arrival date, we offer a 5% early-bird discount. Special note: If you’d like to accommodate a third person, we’ll gladly set up an extra bed and charge €10 per night separately. Of course, all amenities are also available to a third person (bed linens, towels, etc.).
