'Lovely views and a comfortable stay. Room was very big and the shower was excellent. The fridge wasn’t working but was replaced straight away. Breakfast was great with a good choice of hot and cold food in the restaurant that had beautiful views of the harbour. Great location for exploring The Island. Staff very helpful.Swimming pool was great too although a bit on the warm side. However a good size. Bar area was really good too. '

'Hotel is ontzettend oud. Zeker aan vernieuwing toe. Als we de wc doortrok was de hele hotel wakker. Maar personeel is vriendelijk. Niet daar gegeten omdat bijna niemand in de restaurant zaten. Zaterdag avond stonden de rokers buiten voor onze kamer raam te roken. De bedden waren verassend goed. '

'The staff were pleasant and welcoming. We liked the convenience and food offered at the property. The bed was also extremely comfortable. In terms of improvements, the mirror in the bathroom was too far away for shaving, etc - It would be nice to have a magnifying mirror. Also, we felt it was difficult to leave the property by car as the visibility was quite poor and cars pass by quite quickly.'

'I can't say enough praise for the owner/ manager. Damien. A very happy,helpful person. Plus his staff.. Our car broke down and we had to wait hours but he was very understanding. Tried to book again for that night but unfortunately all rooms were gone. Will definitely stay again. And food, Wow !!!!! . Everything we had over the stay was so tasty. My partners Daughter had her 30th last month and that was a great night too. Cheers all.'

'Overall is good. Very cosy house. Seaside is only couple of steps away. The only issue is the neighbour. We have to reverse back in every day so we can easily get out on the second day. Luckily we only have one car. I would say avoid if you have two cars. '

"We had big problems when we arrived at 18.00 hrs; it lasted about 1 hr before the host arrived for the check in. The reason was that the Flying Bull closes on Sunday at 17.00 hr and we were asked to contact by telephone, but our efforts unfortunately failed. We had to ask help from Expedia, but a leaving guest could help us at last. Anyhow the room and brakfast were at least satyfying."
