Nice Traditional Italian Hotel
Nice older hotel. Clean and quiet rooms. Breakfast was very good and well worth the cost. A bit hard to find but the hotel staff helped us find the location. Don't hesitate to call them.

Un po sorpreso dei precedenti giudizi molto positivi sulla struttura. Cortesia del personale, posizione dell'hotel e pulizia degli ambienti comuni e della camera non sono in discussione. Gli aspetti negativi si riferiscono a scelte probabilmente della proprietà o della direzione. Alla richiesta di 11 euro pro capite per la colazione, deve corrispondere un servizio all'altezza, che vuol dire preparare il buffet, fresco, la mattina stessa. Invece la macedonia é già in fermentazione e non c'é attenzione a ciò che é già terminato sul bancone. Anche il salato ha l'aspetto di un parziale recupero di avanzi della colazione precedente. Apprezzabile che sia disponibile per i clienti motociclisti un parcheggio moto ricavato da un attiguo giardinetto: se però la cosa viene tariffata (5 euro a moto al giorno), allora valuto il servizio e penso che si potrebbero potare i rami delle piante che ostacolano la manovra (anche per la presenza di vespe e insetti vari) e che andrebbero rimosse le cataste di legna adiacenti sulle quali é facile inciampare. Probabilmente l'hotel avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata, soprattutto nella gestione, che oggi lo fa apparire fermo nel passato. Sorvolo sulla preferenza consigliata sulla carta di credito da utilizzare al checkout, perché é la solita storia per ottimizzare il costo commissionale dello strumento. Infine, può un hotel 4 stelle chiudere la reception in prima serata e rimandare eventuali necessità a staff presente in altri hotel collegati?

Fint hotel med god beliggenhed i Urbino
Fint hotel med pæne værelser, hyggelig lille gårdhave og god beliggenhed i den gamle del af byen nær alle seværdigheder. Morgenmaden var fremragende og så til kun 11 Euro pr person! Eneste "minus" var at receptionisten ved ankomst talte meget dårligt engelsk - men ind kom vi alligevel.

Unpleasant experience
This hotel provided fake information about the rooms and used very poor rooms to replace what we booked two rooms at the beginning. What we booked are two 16 square meters rooms with balcony. However, this hotel put one of us into a dark, hot and narrow room in the basement and another one into an attic with very low ceiling. When we spoke to the count staff, she quibbled that’s the rooms we booked with very poor attitude. After we showed her the evidence of our booked rooms, she had to change the rooms for us. Though they are better but still do not have balcony. In fact, this hotel has very few rooms with balcony but it provides wrong information to potential customers. I strongly suggest not booking this hotel.

Pessimo hotel... delusione per un 4 stelle.
Mai stato in un hotel dove la colazione non è compresa e costa 11 € a persona, oppure ti propongono una colazione alla “carta”, paghi solo quello che mangi: 2 cornetti, 1 caffè e 1 te... 5,60 €... esagerati!!! Il bagno piccolissimo, le pareti del bagno mancava la muffa, c’era la pittura tutta rigonfiata per l’umidità. il soffione della doccia perdeva acqua per un po’ anche se chiudevi il rubinetto. Il poggia sapone dentro la doccia c’è ne erano 2, ed 1 era inutilizzabile. Il porta asciugamani del lavello, teneva in bilico... se non stavi attento a come prendere e posare l'asciugamaniti faceva cadere tutto a terra. Servizio Wi-Fi... non ho visto da nessuna parte scritta la password. Il corridoio che portava alla mia camera, che premetto, è situata in un sottotetto, ha una trave che per ben 2 volte ciò sbattuto la testa... e io non sono alto. L’hotel si trova in una zona ZTL, ti propongono un pass per parcheggiare l’auto davanti dove ci sono i parcheggi, al costo di 6 €... è solo quando effettuini il check out ti dicono che costava 6 € al giorno!!!! Finisco qua, ma c’è ne sarebbero cose da dire. Io, non ci andrò più, e non lo consiglio.

Gentilissimo Sig. Marco, ci dispiace molto leggere queste note negative che hanno definito il vostro soggiorno ad Urbino. Ci teniamo però a chiarire alcuni punti da Lei sottolineati: la scelta di includere o meno la colazione è fatta dall'Ospite che prenota, nche in base al sito utilizzato per la prenotazione, sceglie le varie caratteristiche dell'Offerta più adatta al budget e alle esigenze proprire, quindi in fase di prenotazione ha Lei scelto di NON includere la colazione nel prezzo del soggiorno. Per il commento sui prezzi della colazione, come Le è stato specificato alla reception, sui tavoli del bar sono presenti i menù con tutti i prezzi delle singole consumazioni, ha quindi Lei scelto cosa prendere e aveva già chiaro l'importo finale avendo ordinato; punto secondo il permesso per poter sostare nella ZTL, noi come Hotel offriamo a tutti i nostri Ospiti l'ingresso gratuito nelle mura del Centro storico, e arrivati in struttura diamo la possibilità di scegliere se sostare nel viale del Centro oppure se spostarsi di pochi metri e cercare un parcheggio fuori dalle mura, specificando che il costo del PASS è di € per giorno; per le caratteristiche della stanza (mansardata al secondo piano), come per tutti i dettagli sopracitati, La informo che al momento della prenotazione (28/09/2019) Le è stata inviata l'email che Le reinvierò alla sua email, per renderle noti tutti i dettagli della prenotazione da Lei effettuata e tutte le informazioni riguardanti la nostra struttura. La ringrazio ancora, sperando di aver chiarito i malcontenti e Le porgo cordiali saluti.

Posizione ottima, comodissimo il parcheggio auto di fronte all'albergo al costo di sei euro al giorno. Struttura elegante, curata. Graziosissima la camera mansardata anche se un po' sacrificata negli spazi.

Piacevole per un soggiorno limitato
L'albergo si trova all'interno delle mura e si affaccia su di esse nella zona bassa. È dentro la zona ztl. È possibile accedere con l'auto fino all'hotel me poi occorre registrare il numero di targa e lasciare parcheggiata la macchina (pagando - attualmente - 6 euro all'albergo stesso). Essendo localizzato nella parte bassa chi alloggia nell'hotel deve prepararsi a salire a piedi nella parte superiore (forse non è molto indicato per le persone anziane). La mia stanza (e il bagno) era piccola di dimensioni, ma comunque sufficientemente confortevole. Se si dovesse pagare il prezzo pieno (100 euro) risulterebbe forse poco conveniente. Ma con la tariffa trovata sul sito il rapporto prezzo qualità era sufficientemente soddisfacente.

Not sure why this is a four star hotel
My friend and I stayed in the top story "businessman single" rooms. While these small rooms are probably warm and cozy in cold weather, they are stuffy and warm in hot summer weather (the skylight window cannot be opened). The air conditioner unit in my friend's room was in need of servicing and its noise was too loud to permit sleep. He was eventually offered another room for our second night, but for the first night it was suggested that he do as Italians purportedly do and turn it off at night (which he was forced to do despite the very hot July weather to try to get some sleep). Some of the hotel's common areas have seen better days -- the entryway stair carpet is loose and frayed, and the furniture on the seemingly neglected upper story terrace is old and uncomfortable -- and it is puzzling why these relatively minor refurbishments aren't being seen to. Breakfast is not included in the room price, which is unusual for a four-star hotel. The hotel's location is quiet and picturesque and street parking (at additional cost) is convenient. The walk up to the town center is steep. The hotel has a pleasant and bygone character, and perhaps the rooms other than the "businessman singles" enable it to claim four stars.

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel in Urbino, das einen gewissen Charme versprüht, aber an manchen Ecken doch etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein scheint. Das Bad schien jedoch renoviert und war mit einer Whirlpoolbadewanne ausgestattet. Alles in allem aber sehr ruhig und mit freundlichem Personal. Parkplätze sind gebührenpflichtig.

Comfortable boutique hotel.
Helpful and friendly staff at this aging hotel. Starting to show signs of shabbiness, but very comfortable mattress. My room was small and dark, with attic style roofline and skylights with shades that I couldn’t reach to adjust the light. Tiny bathroom with small triangular shower. Lovely public areas. On city walls at edge of town. Parking available. Uphill short walk into town centre and longer walk to the bus station. Would only rate it st 3 stats. Internet wouldn’t work in my room at all.

Beautiful view of surrounding countryside. Attractive lobby, breakfast room and room decor. A couple of blocks from busiest part of city so convenient yet quite and private. Important to note that the couple of blocks are up steep hill so be prepared for brisk walks. Staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and very accommodating to our lack of Italian. Excellent, reasonable breakfast.
