Charmante huisjes het hele jaar door op Waterfall

Kom genieten van de bezienswaardigheden, geluiden en sereniteit van ons fantastische uitje thuis genesteld in een ceder bos op de top van een waterval! Ons huisje heeft een grote kamer met kathedraal plafonds en massieve stenen open haard, gracieuze kok's keuken, 1. 5 baden, open zolder met twee slaapgedeeltes en terras met uitzicht op de waterval. We hebben keyless entry, beveiligingscamera's die toezicht houden op ingangen en omarmen momenteel de sereniteit zonder wifi, kabel of internet, maar met Verizon kun je 4G krijgen.

We zijn in de buurt van Turning Stone Casino, Colgate University, Hamilton, Cazenovia en Morrisville hogescholen; evenals beroemde Madison-Bouckville Antiquing. Gemakkelijke dagtochten zijn onder andere de Adirondacks, Catskills, Cooperstown, Destiny Mall, Syracuse & Utica Dierentuinen, kindermusea, Sylvan, Verona en Delta-stranden, Chittenango Falls en meer. Het gebied biedt mogelijkheden om te wandelen, fietsen, rodelen, ballonvaren, golfen, gamen en nog veel meer.

Kom ontspannen voor een weekend, week of een maand als onze gast in het hart van de staat New York. Ons huis biedt een perfect uitje voor kunstenaars, schrijvers, natuurliefhebbers, sleehoofden, of voor familiebijeenkomsten, romantische uitjes en vriendenweekends. Onze "Cottage" en "Retreat" zijn 2 van de 5 huisjes op toegang rijden, twee zijn leeg en een in renovatie.

We appreciate the opportunity to check in a little early. We arrived sooner than expected. It was an easy drive to local grocery store which minimized the amount of advance meal planning. Two suggestions I would offer include, directions on how to use Roku and that TV uses HDMI 4 for DVD. The second, that mattress on the bed in the loft. I don't think the sleep number settings fully work as the R side of the bed, as you are facing the bed, is permanently sunk. These two things are minor though. We were in deep need of a place to relax and recharge and it is by far our best and now favorite get sway.

We had such a fabulous, restful and peaceful time at Firefly Falls Cottage. I don't think we slept better in years. Everything was so convenient to travel to, yet off the beaten path. It was our first stay here and hopefully not our last. Falling asleep to the falls was so soothing and everything you could ask for was provide. Robin the host was incredibly responsive to each question. Do yourself a favor and stay at this amazing retreat. You will not regret it.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage nestled beside a stunning waterfall. The natural scenery was breathtaking, offering a serene backdrop that made our trip truly special. The cottage itself was beautifully crafted, with impressive woodwork that added warmth and character. A great Major League Hall of Fame place to stay!

My son and I are from Seattle, we meet up with my brothers from Florida and Ohio for the MLB Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Cooperstown. What a wonderful weekend it was and at a beautiful house that overlooked a creek with two waterfalls. The outside views from the deck were only surpassed by the wide-open spaces inside the house. The great room was the perfect setting for reminiscing with the family. The sleeping accommodations was ideal for everyone. Although the drive to Cooperstown was a bit far, the grandeur of this house made the whole weekend worthwhile! We loved this place. Thank you Robin!

Amazing waterfall retreat

I surpised my husband with this trip. He loves being by water and waterfalls and this place did not disappoint. Listening to that water is so great, especially at night looking up at the stars. We had a great trip and Robin was very responsive with any questions. Would stay here again for sure.

Very cozy getaway

We loved our stay, it's so beautiful and cozy. The perfect getaway from the city, the waterfall right outside was just the best thing ever. We only had concern about 2 things: the deck, it's very old and not maintained it didn't feel completely safe. The shower head is very low pressure, it's basically a mist and made it difficult to shower. The host is very responsive we had an issue that they resolved as soon as possible.

Beautiful riverside cabin

This location combined with the Retreat next door is an amazing place for a group! While there are no bedrooms pre saw in the cottage, the loft has 1 full queen/ on bedposts, and 3 queen on floor in second peak (peak is short for 6’ tall adults & window doesn’t open) the loft has a slider to a small deck - super cute! And a half bath - convenient for mid night use 👍. The rest of the cottage is beautiful- lots of room and large table, kitchen is nicely packed with whatever you need. The shower head needs to be updated but the bathroom is huge on main level - whirlpool tub inside (we thought there was a hot tub, but no). The decking is a little soft, but large and lets you feel like you’re right in the river. A great location - easy drive to everything. Oh and there is a little fairy door by the kitchen - adorable! If we ever go back to this location we will for sure try to rent again here!

Pleasant Retreat

Located in a very nice and serine location. Although off the beaten track and can be very private, there are other cabins very close by. Overall we had a great time in a fantastic location with a very responsive host. Thanks so much, Robin, for sharing your cain with us.

A Perfect Place

Everyone says the pictures don't do this place justice...they don't! It's a stunning, comfortable and exceptional retreat situated near one of the most beautiful pieces of land I've seen. You can feel the love Robin and her family have for the nature that surrounds in the little touches throughout the house, both in being eco friendly but also in the decor. My two sisters and I have never been happier together in this slice of paradise.

I stay at many rental places in the US. This is the BEST place I’ve stayed! The waterfall is beautiful and fun to explore. The house is massive (for the 3 of us). The kitchen blew me away with the extras! Everything anyone could possibly need was there. My favorite was the adorable “mouse house” door near the games. Loved the details! Wish I could live there for summer!!

Beautiful property! However….

We could not wait for our trip to the Firefly cottage. If it was anything like the photos on Vrbo, it was sure to be a delightful. And it was just as pictured. The great room had a wall of windows looking out to the creek and waterfall. The bed was comfy (once we figured out that it was a sleep number). The sheets and towels were all soft and the pillows were terrific. However, we began to notice some small things that needed attention. There were some loose boards on the porch, and two lounge chairs were threadbare and needed replacing. The window sills were dirty and had dead bugs on them when you opened the windows. We found expired and old products throughout the house. The place needs a good old fashioned deep cleaning. Robin failed to let the guests arriving to the main house know that we were staying in the cottage. They were very nice, but they said that Robin told them that they could use the porch by the cottage because no one was staying there. The woman read Robin’s note to us. Robin did apologize. But it got really weird when one of the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and I asked Robin if I missed it somehow. Instead of assuming that I wouldn’t have asked if we had enough, I was “schooled” on how I was wrong and people steal it and her family of five go through one roll in two weeks. I don’t recall ever having to defend our bathroom needs in any establishment. It was weird and awkward and unnecessary. if you stay, bring your own soap and toilet paper.

3rd Visit

This is such a relaxing place that this is our 3rd time coming. Fun Summer Tidbit - bring beach chairs and they stay perfectly on the flat rocks in the creek allowing the very cold but refreshing water cool off your feet while you read and relax. Heavenly
