Welkom in dit prachtige huis aan het meer aan Kinderhook Lake, NY. Volledig herbouwd in 2018, is dit huis ontworpen om het ongelooflijke uitzicht op het meer te maximaliseren. Koel en zonnig in de zomer en warm en gezellig in de winter. Kom en geniet van Lake Kinderhook !! Gelegen op enkele minuten van de NY Thruway en de I-90, is deze accommodatie gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van de Berkshires, de Hudson River Valley en verschillende skigebieden. Open plattegrond, gloednieuwe keuken stroomt in ruime woonkamer. Enorme ramen benadrukken het vooraanzicht van het meer. Twee grote slaapkamers boven, een slaapkamer op de eerste verdieping, plus een comfortabele futon in een gemeenschappelijke ruimte. Genoeg ruimte om te slapen en te ontspannen. Twee badkamers, een met eigen ingang naar de hoofdslaapkamer. Grote tuin aan het meer met steiger. Als u een boot / trailer hebt, is er een boot met gras / grindboot direct naast het pand. Redelijk rustig meer, enige motorbootactiviteit, maar de meeste liggen aan de andere kant van het meer. Zomer opmerking: we houden van het meer, maar insecten ook. Alle ramen hebben schermen, maar houd deuren dicht om te voorkomen dat insecten binnenkomen. Ze kamperen eigenlijk als kleine huurlingen die wachten om elke keer dat de deur opengaat in een hinderlaag te lopen. Jiminey Peak - 30 minuten Hunter Mountain - 1. 5 uur Gore Mountain - 1. 5 uur Mt. Modern and extremely clean. Every amenity worked and was in great shape. We used the fire pit, grill, kayaks, canoe, and hot tub without any problems. Well stocked kitchen with place settings and extra spices etc. Super easy check-in. And host quickly responded to any questions. Everything was perfect!

This place is located about 20 mins from downtown Albany and is extremely beautiful and spacious. Highly recommend if you are in the area. The communication with the property manager was excellent as well.

We had such a great time at this house with our family. We were able to check in early and the place was clean and packed full of supplies for us to use during our stay such as plates, napkins, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, coffee, etc.! We brought fishing rods and fished off the dock. We also used the kayaks to go out on the lake and it was so much fun! Anytime we messaged Michael and Beverly they responded within minutes! We were able to check out late and it was the easiest check out I’ve ever experienced. We will definitely be back to this property!

The pictures don't do this place justice. The home is so cozy and the hosts were wonderful!!! I had a lot of questions and they were very responsive and incredibly helpful. The lake was so impressive and being able to take it in while warm and cozy felt so special. Loved little details such as all cabinets being labeled. Super helpful for a very fun stay. Looking forward to returning thank you!

We had a wonderful visit to Kinderhook Lake. The house was very clean and comfortable with really nice seating inside and out with great views of the lake. Our family really enjoyed the 3 kayaks and swimming off the small dock. We also enjoyed chatting with our neighbors a bit. Thanks for a great visit!

Great property! Nice lake views in a comfortable home. Everything you would want to enjoy the water - kayaks, life jackets, fishing poles. Outdoor fire pit on the water is a relaxing spot to sit at any time. Beautiful and peaceful mornings sitting in Adirondack chairs on the water. Will stay again in the future!

We stayed a couple of nights for my birthday. The view was breathtaking out of almost every window of the house. It's literally right on the water. The house was extremely clean and the contents of each cupboard was nicely labeled. The hosts were very helpful and made sure our stay was PERFECT! We will be staying here again soon.

This house was such a great getaway for me and my family. We spent the mornings looking out at the late and the afternoons exploring Hudson and Chatham. We would love to come back in the summer so we can kayak. Michael was wonderful with communicating!

This was the second year my (adult) daughter and I vacationed here in the summer. We loved the place as much, maybe more, the second year. The location is marvelous- great views of the lake, quiet, peaceful, yet 6 minutes to Hannaford’s Supermarket, CVS, and other necessities. We loved shopping in all the little shops in nearby Chatham, and frequented Berry’s Farm Market for fresh fruit and vegetables (and many other good things). We liked that we were at the part of the lake where boats had to slow down and leave no wake. We swam and kayaked and spent many hours just sitting by the lake. Michael is a fantastic host, accessible and helpful. The house is well-supplied with the basics and my sweet daughter prepared excellent meals in the kitchen every evening. We were both working part of the time, and grateful for good wi-fi and places to work. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms easy to use (I have rheumatoid arthritis and was grateful for the walk-in shower.) Even the weather cooperated. We had a blessed two weeks. This house was well organized and clean. Everything you would need was there and labeled. The lake was a little cloudy - but great to swim in. We loved Kyaking to "one tree island". Overall a nice stay and would recommend this house.

My wife and I spent the weekend at this property with our three kids. The house is extremely well-kept and very comfortable. Check in and all instructions were seamless. The house was perfectly stocked with everything we could have needed. This was our first getaway since 2019 and we felt so grateful for the cleanliness of the home. Although we didn’t get an opportunity to use the kayaks, due to the weather, it was a perfect peaceful setting. Michael, a wonderful host, was quick to respond with any questions that came up. Loved seeing the beginning of the fall colors! Agree that the lake view is even prettier in person!

This house is very new and clean, stocked with everything you might need. It's a great open layout and really worked well for our group. The views of the lake from both floors are so beautiful! We enjoyed spending time out on the dock and sitting at the outdoor table. We were able to take out the kayaks and explore the lake, which was very calm, just a few fishing boats and other kayakers out. The location is terrific too, easy to get to the supermarket and town. We spent time down in Kinderhook, a quaint village and also going to farm markets and a vineyard nearby. Loved the whole weekend and we will be back to this house!

Loved staying here. Home was wonderful, can't think of anything it needed except maybe a big shelf in master bath for toiletries since bathroom serves 2 upstairs bedrooms. Very clean and comfortable. Well stocked, everything worked. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had and easy to work with. Lake view even prettier in person.

I had picked this VRBO originally with the thoughts of a beautiful location on quiet Kinderhook Lake. I am a local to the area and do have background knowledge of the lake and knew I would love to stay here for our wedding weekend. Our stay was nothing short of incredible. The convenience of the location to the surrounding towns (and wedding venues) is perfect. My bridal party and I got ready at this home the morning of the wedding. We took beautiful pictures indoors and outside by the water. The bedrooms were large and spacious. It had everything we needed for a great stay! I highly recommended this VRBO. The communication with Michael, the host, was wonderful and he was very informative. I would definitely stay here again!
