Perfect for our trip
The location and apartment were overall amazing! David was wonderful and so smooth with the whole process. Location was great in proximity to the places we wanted to see, access to main roads and metro stops, while still remaining quiet at night. The apartment itself was so spacious and stocked and had absolutely everything we needed. The perfect home away from home.

We were visiting for the Valencia Marathon - We loved the apartment - it suited our needs perfectly. It was close to cafes, bakeries and public transport. David was warm, welcoming and helpful. It was great to have a bath (as well as a shower), as I needed to sit down after running the marathon!

Great apartment
We had a great stay as owner is accessible and always ready to help. Apartment is if a good size and well equipped. As facing north, is a bit cold, but has gas heaters which helps although Valencia was pretty warm when we were there. The city is well worth the visit and apartment is well located so close to amenities public transport or if uou prefer walking, walkable to historical part.

The apt is well located, making days out easy even for oldies like us.there was a useful pile of touristy info to get us started and we updated some and left other stuff. It was good to have the aircon as the second three days were very hot at night. We were able cool the place down quickly then adjust overall temp. Hope we didnt overdo that David. Apt well appointed with all the stuff we needed Thanks for having us.

Great stay in Valencia
We enjoyed this property during our 3 week stay. David was great to communicate with and answered our questions promptly; the unit was clean and well-equipped, and wonderfully well situated. We walked everywhere, including the train station for a trip to Madrid. We would certainly return to David's place if we go back to Valencia.

Just a two block walk to the Metro. Plenty of hot water with a new unit. But if you enjoy sleep, dont come during the Fallas. But that could be said of the whole city then. Has AC so I bet summer would be great there...the tram runs right to the sea.

Four wonderful weeks in Valencia
David's flat was exactly as represented on the VRBO website. It was clean, bright, well appointed and a very comfortable space to return to at the end of the day. David was extremely welcoming and responded quickly to all of our requests. The apartment was well located, within walking distance of major attractions, and had easy access to public transportation.

Valencia
C’était ma toute première fois avec Valencia et ça a été un très bon séjour. L’appartement est super bien placée pas très loin de la ville c’est qui nous permet d’y aller à pied et en même temps éviter les bruits que le centre ville peut avoir. Mes amies et moi avons beaucoup aimée l’accueil qui était très chaleureux. David le propriétaire a été très réactif quand nous avons eu un soucis l’appartement. Le seul bémol est que une chambre n’est pas climatisée mais en laissant la porte ouverte cela est supportable. Donc je remercie David parce que nous avons pu passer un super séjour à profiter de Valencia.

Overall great experience
We loved the location. It was close to what we look for in a short term rental. It gave us a local living experience, while being close to all the popular tourist places. The rental was well equipped for daily living, clean, and comfortable. The host was very easy to communicate with, when needed. We would stay here again.

Franchement une super expérience! Nous recommandons.
Arrivés en avance , david s'est arrangé pour nous accueillir à temps. Très efficace, accueillant et discret , il nous a laissé l'appartement très propre et très fonctionnel pour notre famille (5pers). 7ème etage avec ascenseur, proche de tout :bar à tapas l'ecensia , top ! , aldi, consum, boulangerie,... air co , terrasse peu utilisée par 35°...david s'est montré particulièrement attentif aux mesures covid (gants, desinfectant fourni,...). A refaire ! Excellente localisation et excellente prestation !!

Lovely stay!
This was a lovely apartment on the 7th floor. Bright, cheerful, quiet and facing the courtyard. It was a good neighborhood with a grocery store, a “deli” with prepared foods, a bakery and fruit/veggie stand all within a block and a half. Also convenient to buses and about 4 blocks to metro. Apartment was exactly as pictured. The owner met us the first day as planned, spent a long time with us sharing information about living in Valencia and other nearby towns to visit. He was friendly, helpful and gracious. All in all, it was a pleasure!

vivre dans un quartier
appartement très agréable dans un vrai quartier , hors circuit touristique. Et pourtant, on y est en 10-15 mn à pied ! on peut donc alterner le tourisme, la culture et "rentrer chez soi" pour boire une sangria et manger qq tapas. une bonne adresse !

Lovely 2 bedroom apartment
From the moment I booked this property to our departure the whole experience has been exemplary. David met us on our arrival and kindly advised us on how everything works. He also gave us great tips for the local area, and the Argentinian restaurant he recommended; Calibiri (at the top of the street) was absolutely amazing! The apartment itself is very comfortable for a family of 4 (can actually sleep 5) with a good sized lounge/diner, bathroom with excellent shower, two bedrooms and a small but very functional kitchen. The weather was extremely hot and the air conditioning was a necessity when we got back in after a day in the hot sun. The location is an approximate 20 minute walk to the old town, or you can get a bus in or a taxi (approx 6 Euros). The beach is beyond the Arts & Sciences area (which is absolutely amazing) and cost us 13 Euros for a taxi. The apartment is very quiet and in a local neighborhood you get the feeling you are 'amongst' the locals. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets all within a few minutes walk. We had a great time in Valencia and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and choice of accommodation. We would definitely return and recommend this property.

The apartment is well situated for access to Valencia city centre. Metro & buses very near. Also taxi’s are easily available & cheap using the my taxi phone app. We enjoyed our stay in Valencia, as there is a lot to see. The beaches are also a short metro & tram ride away. The apartment itself is well appointed & has a spacious lounge/dining area. Small bathroom & kitchen are clean/ functional. Bedrooms also quite small, but have enough space for storage etc. The roof terrace was a bit of a disappointment unfortunately & really is used for residents to hang out their washing. However, the city park is very close by metro & this was the outside space we used during our stay. We rented bicycles one day to explore the park, which was very nice. There are also some nice restaurants & bars in the apartment’s neighbourhood. David & his colleague Malcolm were very easy to communicate with & booking plus arrival/ departure was very easy. We asked to depart a bit later on our last day & David was very accommodating. In summary, a very nice apartment, very well situated, in a nice quiet neighbourhood of Valencia.

Functional apartment in good location.
Apartment was clean, had good hot water and water pressure. Kitchen was a bit small but did not prevent us from preparing meals. Elevator could be heard through the night but if you are a sound sleeper, shouldn’t be a problem. Area was good. Had everything you would need or want. The walk to old town took about 20 minutes but was enjoyable. The metro is excellent and easy to use. Valencia is a beautiful city. There are many things to see and do. The green space and walking areas are phenomenal. The beach is worth a visit/s. The ceramic museum and Fallas museum are well worth the visit as is the Valencia cathedral and silk exchange. The city of arts and sciences is ingenious. The zoo is great and the Turia riverbed is a fantastic walking area. Valencia is a very safe city day and night.

L’appartement est tel que montré et décrit sur le site. Nous y avons séjourné du 28 février au 14 mars 2019. David était présent pour nous accueillir. De plus il a répondu rapidement et efficacement pour solutionner les petits ajustements d’installation. L’appartement était très propre sauf quelques petits ustensiles de la cuisine. Great central location to metro, clean and cute
Owner was very friendly, kind, and a good communicator. Flat was well equipped for a relaxing stay - with everything you need to cook, and also has a lift and aircon. Area around the flat had many great little local pubs and restaurants but if you fancy a jaunt into city center it’s a quick tube ride or 5 min taxi for 7 euro. Will stay again next time I’m in Valencia!

Thanks Jerome. Parking is extremely easy during August as many residents/commuters are away. However for future guests my webpage guidelines re; parking times or taking advantage of free parking @ Empalme & metro L.1 should be considered, otherwise some patience is needed. Best David.

Dear Guests. Apologies for any inconvenience. I am only a telephone call away as I live within 15km The oven 'timer' knob anchoring mechanism had become detached - now fixed. The washing machine appears to have developed an intermittent fault. Consequently I have decided to replace it with a new machine - replaced Oct 2018 - Instructions for all appliances are in the bottom kitchen drawer. One has to make sure the 'selector'' knob is firmly 'clicked' on to the required wash setting & the machine activates as it should. Both air-conditioning units have had their water expulsion pipes replaced for reinforced hoses as the continual expansion & contraction of the original incorrectly fitted non-reinforced hoses had formed severe kinks & restricted their water discharge & causing unfortunate internal leaks when temperature setting @ 16-18c - which entails the machines operating at their maximum (resulting in higher water discharge & this is not always apparent when the manufacturer's recommended optimum 24-25c efficiency setting is overlooked or higher than normal humidity is apparent) - Now both units discharge correctly. Had you taken advantage of the efficient HomeAway messaging service or made a tel call or WhatsApp message/call I could have advised you accordingly or fixed the problem. I hadn't heard anything until now from you! Unless any problem has been brought to my attention I'm afraid I'm not always aware; as there are many different systems & appliances operative in my apartment & unfortunately it's quite impossible for me to know if there's any one specific problem unless I've been informed. I resolve to fix it/them as soon as I possibly can.. I sincerely hope that despite this you all had a great time & thoroughly enjoyed this delightful city & all its great attractions and really appreciated my apartment's lively, civilised & decidedly convenient central location. Appartement parfaitement équipé
Nous sommes arrivés très énervé car nous avions appris une fois avoir réservé que l'immeuble ne contenait pas de piscine comme les photos le laissait sous-entendre, alors que la piscine était notre première condition de recherche. Mais finalement, nous avons apprécié notre semaine. David est très accueillant et prend le temps de tout expliquer, l'appartement est très beau et très bien équipé et même s'il est un peu excentré, il est facile de rejoindre le centre. Quartier agréable et viciant. Proche centre historique, metro, bus.... alimentation à proximité immédiate. Parking gratuit assez souvent libre. Apparemment tres agréable (wifi et clim). Parfaitement équipé. David assure un excellent accueil.

Very comfortable appartment
Apartment was very comfortable and there was anything you want. The only problem was the language. Nobody speaks italian or english. Make sure to rent a car instead of using public transport.

Lovely, clean, spacious apartment.
The apartment was in the perfect location for walking into Valencia. It was quiet, clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed for a lovely peaceful week. The supermarket was very close by. We loved walking into the older part of Valencia and the new and there was a fantastic choice of restaurants and cafes. It was easy to get to the underground and travel further afield. We really enjoyed a visit to Oceangrafic and the science museum.
