This property was great value for money. The location is excellent and you can walk to everywhere in town. The room was spacious, air con worked well, staff were friendly and the pool was great. Highly recommend.

This is an old building with a lot of character. It was the quietest of the four nights we've spent in Mexico. The room was very small and crowded and the double bed was quite tight for my husband and I. It is a great location to walk to the plaza and restaurants. We were able to park in their lot across the street. In spite of the tight space, we would have stayed another night but it was booked. The only problem was our toilet clogged the morning we left and we were unable to flush it even manually.

El personal muy distraído, amables pero a la vez era como que no te veían, solo si tú les hablas te responden, tal vez así es su cultura; pero si estaba limpio y muy tranquilo. La alberca es muy pequeña pero sirve para estar reunirse a platicar.

Stay away from this place!!!!!!!!!!
This place was disgusting! Where do I start, oh yea, the room was very small, there was no toilet seat on the toilet, the shower was all rusted out and leaked all over when you opened the faucet, the coffee pot was extremally dirty and when I asked them to clean it or replace it the girl said it was not her responsibility but did bring me a different one only to have it malfunction and burn my hand early in the morning. The morning person who put out some fruit and sweet bread was very rude and even told me that I could not have any because it was only for a few individuals that worked for a company and were staying there. The air conditioner did work but took a very long time to cool the room, did I mention it was a very small room1? Over all this was the worst place I have ever stayed in all my travels and will never stay there again nor will I recommend anyone to stay there. I shoud have taken pictures !!!!!!!

After reserving through Expedia, the manager requested payment in cash and did not accept credit cards. The building is old and decrepit, the staff was terrible, like they did not want us there. Would not come back ever. The parking lot is a dump, actually left over from an old construction with piles of trash.

The staff was very helpful. One thing that could be improved is the bathrooms. The water pressure is not very strong and there was not always hot water. More storage would also be helpful. Other than that this is a very good value hotel with a great location. We would recommend it to other travellers.

Employés très gentil et serviable. Le décor agrémenté de multiple meubles antiques rendent l'atmosphère calme et chaleureux. Par contre, les employés devraient porter un uniforme pour donner plus de classe à l'hôtel. Le linge de chambre devrait être plus neuf et plus de qualité. Par contre, nous avons aimé avoir une cafetière et du café dans la chambre. Nous devrions avoir 2 oreillers de surplus.

This hotel was ideally located. Its decent value for money and quite beautiful when you admire the ornaments. The staff was very informative and had great tips for sightseeing. My only concern is that the wifi does not reach the rooms, we were not even that far from Reception and alas no wifi. That needs fixing in this day and age.

hola, Sr Conrado lamentamos mucho el inconveniente pero tuvimos un problema con nuestro sistema de tarjetas el día de su llegada, sobre el acuerdo que menciona no se sobre que se refiera, sin embargo mi recepcionista trato de solucionar el problema de acuerdo a nuestras políticas y aun que es verdad que no pudo efectuar el pago por tarjeta, si lo pudo vía transferencia, ellos de manera respetuosa intentaron explicarle sin embargo usted traía una actitud muy retadora mencionando que con ayuda de su esposa que trabaja en tv para desprestigiar al hotel, ellos se mantuvieron al margen y esperamos que no siempre sean así en todos los hoteles que visitan, nuevamente pedimos una disculpa y esperamos puedan comprender que son cosas que sucede.

I was given a price of about 2500 Mexican Pesos for my three night stay, all taxes included, when I made my reservations with Hotels.com. When I arrived, I was asked not to use my credit card to pay, but to rather to pay in cash, and the bill came to 3100 Pesos. In the past, I've had good luck reserving with Hotels.com, and I feel the dishonesty was on the part of Hotel Palacio Canton. I should have walked out, but was tired from traveling, so stayed there against my better judgment. The royal and palatial atmosphere that was advertised wound up being more like a mausoleum. Don't stay here. Stay at any of the economical hotels nearby: Hotel Peregrino or Casa Daniels.

Das gute : Eine Straße entfernt von Zentrum & Parkplatz. Das erstes Zimmer die wir bekommen haben hat leider sehr nach Feuchtigkeit gerochen, einer der Mitarbeiter hat uns freundlicherweise ein neues Zimmer angeboten und somit waren wir 2 Nächte im neuen Zimmer. Die Unterkunft so wie das deco ist alt und runter gerantz. Pool ist eher nur als deco da nicht wirklich einladen war um dort rein zu gehen. Frühstück war nicht besonders.

La atencion y amabilidad fue muy buena! El cuarto sencillo pero muy limpio y la cama muy comoda!! El detalle de la cafetera y agua se me hizo excelente! Los unicos detalles que no hicieron que mi estacia fuera perfecta fue que dependiendo de la hora que te bañas es la fuerza con la que sale el agua de la regadera! Y el cable de la television mas de la mitad de los canales no se veian o se veian mal y la señal se perdia seguido! Pero a pesar de esto si regresaria a hospedarme nuevamente en este hotel porque esta super ubicado comodo y todo muy cerca!! Por sus tarifas en general se me hace una excelente opcion!

La habitación es muy bonita, tiene cafetera y el kit para café, proporcionan dos botellas de agua, el baño está muy bien de amplio. La alberca es pequeña. No hay desayuno si se paga una tarifa económica. En general lo recomiendo por la cercanía con el centro.

Top value in Valladolid
The staff was wonderful and the hotel was lovely with fascinating decorations and Old World style. The free breakfast was fine with fresh fruit, pastries, and coffee. Our room was large and quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. The pool wasn’t large, but the water was warm. Two blocks from the center of town in a safe area. Definitely recommend unless you only want new facility.
