'I was very impressed with this "hotel". It is more of an AirBB as your unit is an apartment in an apartment building with permant residents. It comes nicely furnished, including basic kitchen essentials (like service for four, pots and pans, coffee maker, etc). All of the amenities are modern, and the in-unit washer dryer is a huge plus. I also really appreciated some of the welcome gifts, including some coffee/tea, laundry detergent, and your basic hygiene essentials. Property communicates...

'We loved our stay at the Carriage House. Patrick and Kathryn were wonderful hosts. They provided information in a timely manner, and were quick to respond to any questions. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable and well appointed, and Patrick and Kathryn included truly thoughtful touches. The location was perfect for exploring Croton-on-Hudson and the Hudson Valley. We'd love to come back!'

'This exact property is not available to rent, however it is still on the website and is able to be paid for. We did not know this until check-in and realized we never received a code to get in. It was only when we called the number attached to this property is when we found out that it is not supposed to be available. The owner we spoke to was helpful and relocated us to another property only 5 mins away from the original, which turned out to be a lovely place. It all worked out in the end, but...

'I believe it's the furnished basement of the house with its own entrance. There's a bedroom, sitting area, bathroom/shower, A/C, microwave, mini fridge, iron, TVs. It's nothing fancy but was suitable for my needs (a decent place to sleep and shower). 'Property was almost ad advertised, with the exception of the parking space. When we arrived, we moved a rope partition in front ot the property to park and unload. The owner of the adjacent unit prompt;y came out to tell us that this was his spot that he ernted out and that we could not stay there. There were already two cars in the back, one without plates. Needed to speak with owner to clarify. After this the parking situation was OK. Property was neat and clean. Could have used more towels...

'This property was at most the horrible experience. Property is not at all where it states on the website. When we arrived the ceiling was falling due to an old leakage and when I communicated with someone in charge of property, they said maintenance will come. We stood for a week and they came at the second to last day of our stay. It was cold every morning and the windows were patched with garbage bags. 'The place was a great base for us when we visited family in NJ and NY. Super clean, very comfortable beds, and easy parking and check in. One bedroom and bathroom are in the basement, in case anyone in your party is mobility limited. The upstairs neighbors do make a little normal noise, sometimes later at night, so maybe bring earplugs if you are a very light sleeper. '

'Very clean property, easy access to the bus line and the 1 Train. Quiet neighborhood was A! Thanks again!'

'Conveniently located, quiet, comfortable beds, designated free parking, full kitchen, and always felt safe. We all enjoyed watching the marmot out our bedroom window! (Currently there is construction on the house next door, so the view out the dining area isn't great.) Was disappointed there were only 4 pods for the Keurig for 4 people for 3 mornings. (Coffee in the morning is important to us.) Responses from owner were on occasion slow. Overall it was a very nice stay!'

'Loved everything about this place! Plenty of space for everyone, great location four minutes from the commuter train, having offstreet parking was a huge blessing! So much good I could say about this property, communication was wonderful, and having a laundromat just steps down the street was perfect for a laundry refresh in our trip! The neighborhood is quiet yet close to everything and well kept!'
