'The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own. 'We were in town for a horse show, and this property was the perfect location. What a cool spot! We all loved it, such a creative idea. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us! 'The space is perfect for large groups, we had 13 people. The top floor was the best place to hang which allowed people to be able to peel off and have some time to themselves when they needed. It’s just under a 10 minute walk to downtown, check out Lucy’s Bar and The Misfit. Tim was an excellent host and ensured we had everything we needed, would recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun girls trip! '

'My husband and I traveled to the area for a long weekend with our college intern who there for the summer. The house was great! Everything was as expected and how the photos show. Communication was great with the owner. We didn't spend a lot of time in the neighborhood, but felt it was fine for what we needed. 'Very comfortable, top floor, modern apartment with plenty of space for four of us in heritage home. The home retains its original, creaky stairs (3 flights up), but the apartment itself has been nicely updated with a good kitchen and nice, large deck. 'I was looking for a special vacation spot on the lake and found this first level condo that fit my needs. I spent a fair amount of time on the covered patio watching the lake and the ducks. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed, and the owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.'
