'We LOVED our stay at the Valdi Homestead! It was such a calming, well thought-out cabin, surrounded by such beautiful nature. We had so much fun meeting the farm animals (especially the surprise bonus puppies!). Alex and Vanessa were so welcoming and kind, and truly made us feel so at home. 'The cabins were wonderful.I came into town for first aid training and stayed two nights. The owners responded very quickly, gave me all the information that was needed and the pictures reflected the cabin very well. I wish I had more time.\nTo feed the animals as there was food in the cabin for them. I found the bed very comfortable and the bath tub fit me well , i'm 6'2". The hot tub was great, but I was only utilize it one night because I was studying, thank you'

'We have a wonderful week here. Highly recommended. perfect timing because the sandcastle weekend was on Texada island, with fun activities. The cottage is beautifully situated on the bay and is well taken care of. we have walked, swam, canoeed, fished a lot of wildlife (deer, osprey, otters, seals, etc.) and as icing on the cake (dutch saying :)) we saw orcas in the bay the last evening. But, the property was misrepresented and was not a “luxury private villa “, instead it was a basement suite in a shared home. Unfortunately, the property inside and outside was poorly maintained. The black mold, pink mold, grease, hair, dust bunnies, and finger prints on windows and appliances was unhealthy. Lack of mattress covers, top sheets, fitted sheets was disappointing. Definitely not worth the money and...

'Our reservation for the weekend was cancelled twice by VRBO. The owner of this property, Scott, was extremely helpful. He helped us fund other dates and contacted VRBO to change our reservation.The property is a nice location but we were dissapponted to see that the photos indicated a noce cabin and we got a basement suite with virtually no windows. The front window was covered by a big equipment, the main bedroom window covered with wood making the room totally dark during a super sunny day....

"Heel fijn hotel voor een paar nachten. Lichte kamer met uitzicht op de oceaan. Het hotel heeft een restaurant, we zijn er helaas niet geweest omdat het op maandag gesloten bleek. Kleine supermarkt naast het hotel. Lund is een leuk klein vissersdorpje."
