The view is simply stunning. I can't see how you would get better for the price bracket - same as a Travelodge in London.
The apartment is lovely and well furnished/equipped, appearing to be someone's private holiday residence they are letting out. As there are many personal possessions around the property eg many hundreds of books. It has 2 bedrooms.
The location is in a lovely part of the lakes (well it's all lovely isn't it). Veranna is a few minutes away and is one of the larger towns. Milan Malpensa airport is about 90 mins on decent roads. There is a train station about 20 mins walk away but the road down is a little dangerous on foot. Indeed the line runs close but we didn't find that problematic noise wise. A car is recommended. Car hire rates were very reasonable even in Aug at short notice. But beware, you will need to park in an enclosed/tight single garage and it's best suited to shorter cars.
Our only real criticisms are that (from what I can tell) the power supply to the property is not adequate enough to operate an oven in the otherwise well equipped kitchen. Cooking for a family in a combi microwave is hard work. It could also do with air con but presumably lacks that too due to the power supply issue. Judicious use of the shutters is required.
I would also give the wifi a miss. It didn't work and is only sharing out a 4G mobile connection anyway. But the 4G signal is strong on our networks (EE & Vodafone at home) anyway for personal mobile use.
