Mooie Waterfront Cabin op North Vashon Island

Ervaar het beste uitzicht op Vashon Island, op slechts een steenworp afstand van de North End ferryterminal. Deze bijgewerkte, charmante hut ligt direct aan het water. Het is de perfecte plek voor een romantisch weekend, gezinsvakantie of een verlengd verblijf om het leven van Vashon te proberen!

Gelegen naast de Pablo Neruda Mural en The Wild Mermaid Cafe, de cabine is rustig en afgelegen, maar zeer gemakkelijk te bereiken. Rijd, fiets of loop zelfs van het vasteland naar je rustige toevluchtsoord op het eiland. De hut werd gebouwd in 1923 en gerenoveerd in 2018 met behoud van veel originele elementen en armaturen.

In een volledig uitgeruste keuken (minus diepvriezer) kunt u uw eigen maaltijden bereiden of gewoon koffie zetten in de ochtend. Er is een slaapkamer met een queensize bed, een badkamer en de woonkamer heeft een charmante open haard. Vanwege recente bosbranden en rook in de regio hebben we een elektrische inzethaard geïnstalleerd die de cabine in de herfst en de winter behaaglijk houdt.

Geniet van je koffie op het dek met de blauwe reiger of zeehonden terwijl je naar de zonsopgang kijkt. Hoewel het het meest comfortabel is voor 2 personen, is de cabine geschikt voor maximaal 4 personen met een slaapbank in de woonkamer. De cabine is gevuld met boeken, kaarten en games en WiFi, maar er is geen tv. Neem een telefoon of laptop mee als u uw entertainment wilt streamen.

Ons doel is om een ​​kalme en rustige omgeving te bieden voor onze gasten om te genieten van de Puget Sound. Producten die in de cabine worden gebruikt, zijn niet giftig en milieuvriendelijk, inclusief mevrouw. Reinigingsproducten van Meyers en Aveda-zeep.

Bereikbaarheid en verbluffende panoramische uitzichten maken dit het perfecte eiland om weg te komen. Na een weekend op het water te hebben doorgebracht, wil je niet meer naar huis!

Watching the ferries

We were on Vashon for a family wedding and this property fitted our needs. When we were in residence we were mesmerized by the water traffic. The property was as advertised and worked well for the two of us. Having visited Vashon a number of times we were very familiar with the island so could find everything we needed.

Our stay was wonderful. The mornings on the deck and days exploring the island. The nights watching the Ocean and ferries are unforgettable. We loved everthing about it. Quick getaway

Had a lovely quick trip to Vashon. We embraced being so close to the WA State Ferry dock and enjoyed watching all the summer ferry traffic come and go. Very handy if you want to be towards the head of the line for the morning ferry! A little tricky going around the ferry holdover lane to come and go but we had no problems.

Vashon Island summer solstice getaway

We really enjoyed our three-day stay at this property, which is right on Puget Sound, close to the Ferry Terminal. Views from the wall of windows are extraordinary. Wildlife visitors at low tide included several seals and a bald eagle. The living room has a cathedral ceiling, so one improvement we'd suggest, in case it's a rainy day, are a couple of floor lamps for reading.

Priceless excursion into the past.

Almost perfect stay. Million dollar views, great location, and surprisingly spacious. Our only minor issues were that the Roku controller wasn’t available and the coffee situation wasn’t spelled out. Perfect Girls Weekend

Stayed for 2 nights and will HAPPILY stay again. The host was wonderfully communicative, the house was in the most incredible location (literally right on the water - the pictures are accurate!) and was just what we were looking for. Loved the location, near the ferries on the water. Clean and great views. Probably best in warmer weather as it was difficult to get it warm enough in the main room, kitchen and bath. Bedroom were very comfortable, warmth wise and the bed was very comfortable. Kitchen very adequately equipped and it was clean. Could use better chairs to relax in. Would definitely stay there again.

The amenities are as described in the listing. We flew in, Ubered to Fauntleroy Ferry Station. Bus into Vashon is cheap and works well. No need for a rental car. Very relaxing.

One of the better places to unwind

First time app user... the property is exactly what others have said about it. Sitting on the sofa at night with only the fireplace on and seeing the lights from across the water...very relaxing! We enjoyed the ferry watching. We drove all over the Rock and enjoyed the little town. Saturday market was going on and there was good fresh food there. Ate at the restaurants. There is plenty to do on the Rock. The house had everything you needed if you were staying in a hotel plus privacy! We felt free just relaxing on the deck. Bring good coffee! They have a grinder, press and a pour over. Very easy instructions to follow. We hope to be back. The property manager was great to work with.

Serenity on the Sound

We absolutely loved this place and Vashon Island! This cute cabin on the waterfront was perfect. I love the simple yet stylish decor, and the outdoor deck was the best feature. Woke up and had coffee on the deck and watched the boats and the ferry come and go. Or sipping on a glass of wine at night and enjoying the coastal lights were both memories we will always treasure!! What a unique and perfect place to get away. Vashon Island is a gem, the restaurants the people and the scenery were all impressive! Definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No Fuss....no muss

Loved it-exactly what my girlfriend wanted. Great entertainment watching the ferrys roll in. We literally “sat on the dock by the bay watching the tide roll away...”. Seals harbor otters and binoculars what more could u ask for. Bed was super comfy and shower was hot. Thanks for the memories!

A wonderful base for exploring Vashon

This was a wonderful base from which our family enjoyed three nights on Vashon. The full kitchen and washer/dryer are a wonderful convenience, and the views are outstanding. The kitchen is very well-stocked, and we had everything we needed. I was nervous about noise with the proximity to the ferry, but it was very quiet, and it felt secluded. Having the cafe next door was wonderful in the morning. One note: we had two adults and two children, and this is really only comfortable for three. Our kids took turns sleeping on the floor because the pull out sofa is a full-size futon—not really big enough for our 8 and 12 year olds to share comfortably. The gorgeous study was a wonderful surprise—a perfect writing nook. We just made up a bed with some of the bedding for one of the kids in there. Lovely location! Highly recommended.

Beautiful location. Right on the wager & next to the ferry. So convenience. Property was clean and had all we needed. Although no freeZer, it was so convenient to grab things for each meal it want missed. They even helped when I accidentally booked one night short.
