Zeldzame accommodatie aan het strand met een spectaculair strand en uitzicht op zee en directe toegang tot afgelegen zandstrand. Genesteld in een uniek, uiterst milieuvriendelijk schildpaddenstrand compleet met brulapen, drakenvliegen, vlinders, leguanen, kleurrijke zandkrabben, pelikanen die meerdere keren per dag opstijgen, schildpadden (zeldzame waarnemingen), enz. Het is een droom voor natuurliefhebbers! Gelegen in Playa Junquillal, een van de beste surfspots en schoonste stranden in Costa Rica! Afgelegen, exclusieve strandrij, slechts een korte wandeling naar een prachtige monding.

We zijn slechts anderhalf uur van de luchthaven Liberia, 40 minuten van Tamarindo, gelegen naast Playa Negra.
On Site Caretaker, Yoga Instructor & Masseuse gelegen op het terrein in aparte vertrekken op de eerste verdieping. Plan yoga of massages ter plaatse!

Let op: 10 gasten zijn inbegrepen bij het nachttarief. Extra gast kosten in rekening gebracht voor reserveringen van meer dan 10 gasten, het huis is geschikt voor maximaal 12 personen bezetting zoals vermeld. RIJ-INSTRUCTIES:
Let op: wanneer je aankomt in Paraiso (doodlopende straat met voetbalveld en park aan de rechterkant), ga je linksaf bij een doodlopend / stopbord, dan gaat de weg van stoep naar onverharde weg. Blijf op onverharde weg tot rechts voordat u doodlopende weg naar strand parkeerplaats, sla linksaf. Passeer Junquilal Eco Lodge & volg de onverharde weg en blijf linksaf. Doorgaan en opnieuw links aanhouden. Je passeert een flatgemeenschap met een verharde weg en twee verkeersdrempels, ga rechtdoor. We zullen het enige huis met 3 verdiepingen aan uw rechterkant zijn, geen aangrenzende buren :)

Typ in een navigatiesysteem Villas Venado en geef Villas Venado door. Ga verder naar het zuiden op 500 meter en het is het enige 3 verdiepingen tellende koraaloranje huis aan uw rechterkant. Als je de doodlopende weg naar het estuarium raakt, ben je te ver gegaan.

Fabulous home, beach and pool!

Our family of 12 had an amazing vacation here! We had six adults, two teenagers, and children from infant all the way to eight years old. Clean, comfortable, and beautiful home! The four master bedrooms with king size beds, and private bathrooms made for a wonderful and relaxing time together, with space to spread out and have some privacy as well. The kids room with several sleeping areas and their own bathroom as well, and was wonderful. The host provided us with a pack and play, high chair, and beach toys for little ones. The kitchen is well appointed, and the ice machine was a huge plus! The lovely private beach was a favorite gathering place, and the host provides beach chairs for use as well as towels. The real highlight for us was the large pool with waterslide and waterfall. One end is perfect for little ones to play and splash in a shallow area, while the big kids and adults loved the large lap pool, waterslide, and waterfall! Plenty of lounge chairs available, and pool towels as well. The security system was easy to set and disarm, but the safes didn’t work in some of the rooms. Really not a problem given the security system. Having laundry facilities was awesome, and the two kitchens and refrigerators were very convenient . Our family had the vacation of a lifetime!

Great place on the beach

Very nice house with great view of the ocean and access to the beach. It was far bigger than our family of four needed, but the location made it worth it. Ideal for four couples and room for kids. We were pleasantly surprised by the local restaurants and market. We loved the Long Beach walks. Sunrise and sunsets were spectacular.

Pura Vida!!

Myself and 6 friends stayed at this beautiful property for 7 days and enjoyed our visit. The home was safe and equipped with ADT security, plenty of amenities, extra items such as sunscreen and bug spray was provided, a thorough and well detailed guide was provided so that we had suggestions to private chefs, activities, restaurants, and more. Communication with host was very easy and helpful. The location and the view was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely come back.

Beautiful property but beware the pool

This is a lovely home with beautiful views of and access to a great uncrowded beach. Easy drive to some decent to great restaurants and other great beach areas. Nicely equipped kitchen and grill area. But the pool design has two flaws. The steps narrow for no apparent reason and it’s easy to simply miss with one foot. Also the deck surface is slippery and caused some issues. Overall it was a great place to hang out with friends but in that one respect be careful.

Our family LOVED this VRBO! The house is very spacious and easily worked for 9 of us. It is too difficult to pick one favorite part of the house/property. The deck/pool was an amazing spot to hang out with family and the third floor deck was equally awesome for yoga and quieter moments. The beach is a short walk away and we enjoyed daily walks. So many beautiful shells to see and a few in our group found some great waves to try out the boogie boards. We had groups go zip lining in the area and check out Tamarindo along with the restaurants/markets in the local area. We have to agree with all the reviews that mention gorgeous sunsets. During our 8 night stay, we had the most amazing and memorable sunsets on the beach and both decks of the house! There were flowers blooming, a pineapple, palm trees as well as many butterflies, birds, geckos and more right on the property. This VRBO allows for much needed R&R and is a short distance away to many hopping places for those who are looking for excursions, new adventures or shopping.

Beautiful house

The house is beyond beautiful. The views were incredible with the ocean in your backyard and basically our own private beach. The kitchen had everything we needed. The layout of the bedroom suites was perfect for privacy for each couple. The pool is small but we really did not have any issues with it being too crowded. The house is very remote but is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing vacation. Definitely would stay again.

Pura Vida Escape

Castillo de Coral offers very comfortable bedroom suites with spacious bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen (loved the ice maker), and easy direct access to a beautiful beach. This was our third stay in the Junquillal region and we really like its unspoiled nature. Guests at Castillo de Coral will need to have transportation available as it is not really in walking distance to any restaurants or groceries. The infinity pool is small but beautiful; it needs to be cleaned more than once a week. Safes in three of the four bedrooms were not working, and property manager was unable to resolve that issue.

My 50th Birthday Trip

The house was absolutely beautiful and we had 10 guests/5 couples and it was nice that all the rooms had their own barhrooms. The views from the deck was amazing especially the sun sets. We had a caterer that was listed in the guest book come 2 nights and oh WOW the food was Amazing. It was Lila Palacios of Cocina Lila. I would also highly recommend them also. I would definitely come back and stay.

Paradise

Great home for large groups as it has 5 bedrooms with super comfy beds. The direct access to the deserted beach and infinity pool made it the perfect location for true rest and relaxation. Issues we had with sinks not draining was dealt with immediately. The howler monkeys came to visit us twice in the large tree just next to the house! This quiet village of Junquillal has some great restaurants, friendly locals, but the roads are challenging with washouts and potholes galore. SUV highly recommended. Use care when swimming due to riptides and always lock doors. Avoid grocery shopping in Santa Cruz- we had bags stolen from a locked car in a "guarded" parking lot of the major grocery store. Prices weren't even less than the local store in Juanquillal and they didn't even have peanut butter. Tamarindo may be better option for larger shopping if you're planning on cooking.

Fabulous beach house

Our family loved our Costa Rica vacation at this great beach property. The home was beautiful, with plenty of space for our family of 8. Lots of extra conveniences were provided, and communicating with the caretakers was quick and easy. The pool was much enjoyed and the sunsets were amazing. The highlight was the beach, only steps away. Our family loved playing in the large waves and trying out our surfing skills. The sand is soft and clean and perfect for walking along the ocean, and we felt quite secluded. We enjoyed quite a few of the local restaurants and highly recommend this quiet corner of Guanacaste.

Luxurious Getaway

Hands down the most relaxing vacation I have taken. The house was amazing - layout, location, etc. And the pool. Oh, the pool. It ruined me - I can't imagine staying at a beach without one like this. And the beach is amazing, clean, empty and exotic (we were there in July 2023). Simply the best. A few hints: 1) Get What's App and use it to communicate. 2) IMMEDIATELY after booking, FOLLOW THE LINK to the house / area guide that you will be sent. It was full of useful information about the house, local eateries and outings that would have made things much smoother if I had used it. 3) I relied on the VRBO check-in information, but it was out-of-date and caused some drama. If anything happens during your stay, don't panic, Georgina was very responsive. This is the only thing that keeps this from being a straight-up 5 star review on every element. 4) Make sure all the doors are locked before setting the alarm - don't ask me how I know. There is a phone on the first floor - you will get a call from security. 5) Watch out for the post in the driveway when backing if your rental doesn't have a camera - trust me, if you don't turn and look, you will hit something. Again, don't ask how I know. 6) I found this listing searching for the Tamarindo area - it's not really, but it was a fortuitous mistake. If you want a popular tourist / resort experience, this is not the place for you. 7) Get ready for the most amazing trip.

This house did not disappoint at all. Photos doesn't give it justice, which is hard because the photos are amazing. We were 4 couples that stayed there and everyone said the beds were very comfortable, so comfortable that when i got home i ordered one of the mattress toppers they have. Everything that is needed was in the home and had all updated appliances.

Just what we were looking for

We went as couples and brought our 17-year-old daughters. This house was exactly what we needed. Four masters with King beds, and one room with four beds for all of the girls. Practically a private beach on gorgeous black sand…. And a short drive to everything that you could want, we enjoyed nearby towns and restaurants- definitely recommend!

Paradise - don’t tell anyone!

Castillo de Coral is a solidly built, comfortable, well-equipped, perfectly located home about 1 mile from Junquillal’s main square. Steps from a deserted and trash-free beach, where you can walk day and night safely - star-gazing, turtle nest searching, birding, shell-hunting, or just soaking up the fresh air and peaceful energy of Junquillal. Some of our party drove into Tamarindo to dive/shop, others wandered to Ostional & San Juanillo, but we enjoyed phenomenal sunsets then dinners at home every night and slept very comfortably afterwards. We even saw whales on the horizon during one sunset! Needless to say we highly recommend this location and home. Costa Rica 2022

The house was perfect for our group of 10 adults. Beds were extremely comfortable, house was very clean and laid out perfect for privacy and gatherings. Thank you to Georgina for arranging German baker and fish guy to deliver to the house. We all enjoyed our time in Costa Rica ~ Pura Vida!!!!

House broken into and robbed

On our first night 10 minutes after we left, we were robbed. The security system was armed, the door was locked. The second sorry windows were open. We put everything into the safe as advised. The thief’s used a kitchen knife to broke open the safe and took all our money, an Mac book and an iPad. The safes are not sturdy!!! This was caught with the security camera however we were SOL. We spend the next day filing a report and started the vacation off poorly. Outside of this the house is nice. The location is beautiful. I do recommend 4x4 we definitely needed it.
