This was our first time in Venice and the proximity to the train station and bus station makes this location very ideal. We were able to easily catch a gondola ride, water taxi, bus, and train from here.
The staff was very welcoming and warm and extremely kind, helping us navigate the town and also arranging the glass factory tour. We had checked in too early and our room was not ready so they offered us some drinks and helped get our tours started so we did not waste any time. They speak excellent english. They made outstanding breakfast with fresh fruits/veggies, cheese, nuts, and cereals. There were no warm options per se which would have been nice. The room itself was small and somewhat crowded, but they pre-arranged 4 sleeping arrangements ahead of time which made it feel very comfortable. Overall, a very lovely experience in Venice.
