Prijs kwaliteit zeer goede keuze voor romantisch weekendje
Dit is zeker een budgetvriendelijk hotel, prima locatie, op een boogscheut van het station en het piazza roma, zodat je niet te lang en te ver hoeft te sleuren met je bagage en ook geen extra vervoer moet voorzien. Ondanks de ligging in het centrum toch zeer rustige kamer, weliswaar aan de achterzijde van het hotel. De inrichting was basic en is aan verfrissing toe, toch was de badkamer netjes en was er elke vers badlinnen. Het ontbijtbuffet was basic, doch voldoende en vers. Alleen de koffie en het fruitsap smaakten minder goed. Zeker een adresje om terug te keren...

Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding
+ Alle bekende trekpleisters op loopafstand (San Marco op +- 30 minuten). + Vlakbij het station. + Voldoende betaalbare horeca in de buurt. + Goed ontbijt. + Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. +- Bedden zijn ok. +- Fijne douche maar de temperatuur veranderde continue. - Kamer is vrij gehorig. - Zoemgeluid (Waarschijnlijk van de airco. Die van ons uitgezet maar je hoort het nog steeds van de kamer ernaast). Genoemde minpunten waren voor ons niet echt storend maar heb ze benoemd voor als je bv moeilijk in slaap valt. Samengevat is dit een heel fijn hotel op een ideale locatie. Als je alleen in Venetiƫ blijft dan is een verblijf van 4 dagen genoeg om alles op je gemak te kunnen bekijken. Plak er een extra dag aan vast als je bv naar Verona wilt.

Hotel Nazionale Venetiƫ, 20 t/m 22 mei 2014
Hoewel de pui en het entree/de lobby er luxe uitzien, valt het met de rest van het hotel mee. De kamer was in orde, klein en geen luxe, maar genoeg om te slapen. Ik miste wel een lampje bij de spiegel en de kledingkast. De badkamer was een cabine van 1.20 x1.20 en daardoor veel te klein (inhoud: wc, douche, bidet en wastafel). De douchekop kon niet worden bevestigd aan de stang, het putje liep over waardoor de complete vloer onder water stond en door de luchtdruk plakte het douchegordijn tegen mijn benen. Probeer zo maar eens te douchen na een lange dag slenteren door Venetiƫ. WC-papier nat, kortom: geen succes. Dan het ontbijt: de ruimte was echt veel te klein, tafeltjes hutje mutje op elkaar. De broodjes waren niet door te komen zo hard en de koffie: motorolie zo zwart en niet te drinken bovendien lauw (net als de "warme" melk). En dat in Italiƫ: koffieland van Europa!! Dat verdient zeker verbetering.

Great Hotel, good service reasonable priced
We stayed for 5 nights in midsummer 2013. The air-conditioning worked perfect as did the elevator. Breakfast is fine and constantly refilled, coffee could be better though (suggest to have a coffee machine instead of a percolator). Staff responded immediately on questions (e.g. remote control to be changed).The Hotel has about 100 rooms (4 floors), is located walking distance from both the Train station as most of the Vaporetto lines and a water taxi point. Only a 10 minutes walk from Piazza Roma. Just around the corner you will find one of the best (low price, very high quality and great service) Trattoria's of Venice: "Alle Lance", Ristorante Pizzeria Cicchetteria Tipica Venezia, 30121 Venezia - Calle Priuli, Cannaregio, 108.

Great location because it is close to the bus-train- and water taxi area. Nice breakfast, kind personnel, good price/ quatily level, good clearing service. If I come back to Venice I Will book The Same hotel!

Reasonable hotel for reasonable rates
I had booked a triple room, and in the first instance we were put in a double with an extra bed squeezed in leaving not enough room to swing a kitten. After complaining we were put in a very nice triple with plenty of room. The air-conditioning was good - well needed in August and the bathroom (shower only) was adequate. The breakfast was dreadful - stale croissants and coffee like tar - but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Nationale in Venetie
Het hotel ligt vlakbij het station, dus ook bij het openbaar vervoer op het water en bij vele restaurants. Zeer rustige kamer, met zachte airco. Goede bedden en badkamer. Prima ontbijtbuffet. Aan te raden.

The hotel Nazionale was a great place to stay. My husband and I loved that it was conveniently located in the heart of the area. The Venice San Lucia train station was a three minute walk from our hotel making it convenient to catch our train when we were leaving for rome. The water ferry/taxied were 3 minutes away making it an easy location to navigate to San Marco or Rialto. About 15 minutes to each of these locations via the water routes. There were an abundance of restaurants around the hotel as well as gelato. The check in process was smooth. When we arrived, there were two flights of steps to get to the front desk but once you were in the hotel there was an elevator available. Our room was ready when we arrived and the front desk gave us all the necessary information we needed. The room was small but comfortable. It was clean. The bathroom was clean. They provided soaps and extra towels. Breakfast is provided by the hotel, continental style- 10 euros per person. We enjoyed the breakfast, it was fresh with several options. The staff was attentive and kind. We would certainly return to Hotel Nazionale when visiting Venice again in the future! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very close to the train station. For us, we were explicitly looking for accommodation that was close to the train station. We had neither the desire to carry luggage over any bridge nor a desire to wait to start our sightseeing. This location fit our needs. Itā€™s located about 5 minutes from the train station. We got placed in the building across the next block. Thereā€™s no reception but truthfully we didnā€™t need them. Once you have the keys, youā€™re independent to coming and going. The room was clean. The service was quick. Unfortunately, all the plugs except one in our room did not work. We thankfully brought a power bank that we charged nightly. Also, the plugs used here are the European 3-pole plug. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were low. An overall good choice for our location-priority (close to the train station).

Meus pais de idade e com dificuldade de mobilidade tiveram problemas com esse hotel, subimos com malas pesadas e por todo o hotel e quando pedimos ajuda os funcionĆ”rios disseram que nĆ£o podiam fazer nada. Hotel muito sujo e banheiro com problemas no aquecimento, esquentava e esfriava no meio do banho do nada, nĆ£o ficaria novamente nem de graƧa

The hotel is one of the first coming into Venice from the bus or train station. There are many food options close by. The rooms are small, but clean and have a private bathroom.

i never write reviews but i couldnā€™t help to write one for this place. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Staff is horrible and rude. My mom and i were unsure how to use the vending machine cause they had no buttons and had two connected, when we asked the lady at the front she was very rude about it and said something like ā€œitā€™s very simpleā€ and didnā€™t bother to show us and instead another person staying at the hotel helped us. So ridiculous. We also stayed right beside the staff area and they were extremely loud in the morning waking us up at about 7-8am which was very annoying and rude considering we were tired and wanted to sleep. Lastly, you have to get up/down a huge flight of stairs to enter so if you have big suitcases good luck! it was just my mom and i and all three men we're staring at us without asking if we needed help while we were struggling . Every other hotel weā€™ve been to they have helped us and been nicer. i would never stay here again and would not recommend anyone else! The people working should be ashamed of themselves.

Nous avons sĆ©journĆ© une nuit dans lā€™hĆ“tel. Les chambres sont propres et la salle de bain refaite Ć  neuf. Par contre la chambre est trĆØs bruyante les gens des 5:00 du matin parlent fort et notre chambre 114 se trouvait juste Ć  cĆ“tĆ© de lā€™accueil. Aucune prĆ©caution du personnel pour demander aux gens de pas faire de bruit. Nous lā€™avons signalĆ© Ć  notre dĆ©part mais juste au petit dĆ©solĆ© sans empathie. Dommage. Je ne recommande pas.

We arrived to the hotel before our room was ready, so we left our bags and started exploring Venice. We came back to the hotel at 6:30pm and were surprised at the fact that they were sending us to another building, not the one in the pictures. This other building had no front desk, no proper ventillation, and had a broken bed. We were told that the main hotel (the one in the pictures) is for large groups and for families, they use another location. This is not specified anywhere on hotels .com. Therefore, I want to make a formal complaint on the fact that we were taken to another hotel, not the one we reserved on hotels .com, and the front desk said nothing to us when we first arrived in the morning. Had they been clear, we wouldve been able to find another hotel.

Dear Miss Olaechea.We're very sorry to hear that your didn't enjoy your stay in our hotel, we want to take this opportunity to clarify the following:During the days of your stay we had a big group in the main building of a young school trip, and since that we know that sometimes they might be a bit noisy we decided to allocate you to the second building, we wish to clarify also that there's no difference of quality of rooms between the main building and the one where you've stayed .Despite the fact that the reception is not present on the second building we have surveillance cameras, and also a direct line phone in each room of the second building to the main building.I don't know if you had the chance to talk to someone of our staff about your issues regarding your room during your stay but we would had been more than willing to help you solving your problem.Regardless of everything, once again we're sorry to hear that you felt uncomfortable during our stay with us, hopefully we will have the chance to serve you better next time.Kind regards

the room was in the lowest floor too dark, poor light too warm , no aircon because they are not allow to use it .. I dont get that.. so I could not sleep, could not breathe at night I dont recommend this hotel

Location was very close to the Venice train station (400M). Friendly reception. Was given room that was not prepared and staff immediately placed us into a new room without issue and staff was very apologetic for giving us a room nor prepared. Fair value for price. I would stay again.
