Reisezeitraum Mitte April 2024, 5 Ɯbernachtungen: Alessandro & Cristina sind ein tolles Team: stets hilfbereit, freundlich & gut gelaunt. Tolle, ruhige Lage (5-6 Min. bei Lido S.M.E.). FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck mit guter Auswahl, vom Chef gibt es diverse Kaffeevarianten, sogar heiƟe Schokolade. Je nach Wetter kann man auch drauƟen frĆ¼hstĆ¼cken. Bei feuchten Wetter ist ein MĆ¼ckenspray recht hilfreich. Die Villa Casanova ist von ihrer Lage und Angebot sowie der Herzlichkeit ihres Personals sehr empfehlenswert!

Alessandro and his staff were amazing. Great directions from the beginning. Our flight arrived late at night to Marco Polo airport and he was great with the instructions on how to reach the Villa and access information. I would definitely recommend this place.

Perfect place to stay on Lido de Venezia. You will have all shopping close by. Also the vaperetto-station nearby gives you easy access to Venezia. The staff are helpful and make sure you will enjoy your stay.

This was a beautiful property and the staff was amazing. Renovated to 1930ā€™s decor with modern amenities. Lido is a super quiet break from Venice and has a great beach. Breakfast was excellent!

Agradable estancia en esta villa en Lido para visitar tanto Lido como Venecia , Burano y Murano. Muy buena atenciĆ³n tanto por parte de Cristina como de Alessandro. La villa estĆ” muy cuidada, limpia y pintada como si fuera nueva ! šŸ˜Š Agradezco mucho la hospitalidad y buenas recomendaciones de transporte y Restaurantes y sobre el legendario Hotel Des Bains de Muerte en Venezia proporcionada por ambos responsables.

Sehr zu empfehlen
Wir haben 6 NƤchte wƤhrend des Karnevals in der Villa Casanova verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden! Der Service ist sehr gut und freundlich, das FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck lecker und das Zimmer hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Da die Unterkunft sehr nah an der Vaporetto-Station Lido gelegen ist, war es zu keiner Tag- und Nachtzeit ein Problem, schnell ins Zentrum von Venedig zu gelangen. Das Preis-LeistungsverhƤltnis fanden wir hervorragend.

Cute place to stay! 5 mins walk from the Lido waterbus stop. The staff was very extremely helpful! I had emailed them beforehand asking for directions on how to get to the villa. They provided me with detailed instructions including which train station to come to and which waterbus to take from there. There was a transportation strike on the day we were coming in and went above and beyond to help me figure out to get to Lido since the direct waterbus was not running due to the strike!

Eine wunderschƶne Villa mit herzlichem Service. Allesandro war ein toller Gastgeber und hatte jederzeit gute Tipps. Zum Bootsanleger nur 5 min zu FuƟ und dann 15 min rĆ¼ber. Tolle Lage! Aber auch auf dem Lido konnten wir abends schƶn bummeln und es gab gute Restaurants.

Thank you for your positive feedback, but it sounds strange to me that no directions were provided to reach us. We always ask for the approximate time of arrival and ask if our guests arrive by plane, train or car to give them the best directions. Probably we din't get a reply about how you were going to reach us, so we couldn't give you instructions about the right boat to take. In any case we hope to see you again to make your stay even better!

Perfekt lƤge nƤra till strand och Venedig. BƄthƄllplatsen lƄg max 200 meter frƄn hotellet. Stranden kunde man lƤtt promenera till. Livsmedelsbutik och massa restauranger i nƤrheten. Det bƤsta Ƥr ƤndƄ servicen man fƄr. Man kƤnner sig hemma. Frukosten Ƥr smakrik, varierande och man blir mƤtt. Wifi funkar lika bra som i Sverige. Personalen Ƥr fantastisk!

Quaint, quiet, a bit run down
A/c unit did not work well and our drain was very slow / nearly plugged, plus the shower head wasnā€™t movable past oneā€™s shoulders so you had to stoop to take a shower. None of these issues were resolved during our stay. It was so hot, I was surprised they didnā€™t even have a fan to offer us when we told them that our a/c didnā€™t work. However - the neighborhood is residential and quiet, close to the beach, the service was otherwise excellent, and the property is quaint. A good value for Venice in high season but you sacrifice a bit of comfort.

Urocze miejsce, fantastyczna obsługa
Jedno z najmilszych miejsc, w ktĆ³rych nocowałam w ciągu ostatnich lat. Urocza willa skryta w cichej uliczce wśrĆ³d zieleni. Pokoje przestronne, dobrze wyposażone i to co stanowi o wyjątkowości miejsca - przemili właściciele (pracownicy?), zawsze uśmiechnięci, chętni do pomocy, otwarci na potrzeby gości. Kawa, herbata, przekąski - dostępne w ciągu całego dnia darmowo, darmowe rowery do wycieczek po wyspie. Fantastyczny, relaksujący pobyt!

Comfortable room in quiet Lido close to Venice
We enjoyed staying in this restored, 1930s villa in Lido, just a short vaporetto (water bus) ride away from Venice. The neighborhood was safe, quiet, and full of excellent restaurants. Our hosts were friendly and gave us good directions for sightseeing in Venice. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices: yogurt, meat, cheese, croissants, rolls, cereal, and excellent coffee or cappuccino. Our only reservations: the house is a little shabby, with worn carpets, and the receptionist forgot to show us how to use the electricity card, which must be used in the room in order to have electricity. Other than that, this is a great place to stay to sightsee in Venice!

A great place to stay in Venice
Villa Cassanova was the best hotel/pension we stayed in for or 6 city 2 week European trip. Service was faultless beginning with prompt and helpful answers to questions I e-mailed regarding getting to the property by ferry from the rail station to outstanding breakfasts and general friendliness of the managers. The room was elegant and the bathroom functional. The location is convenient as it is only a 10 minute walk to the ferry and a little more to a good range of restaurants. The Palace of the Doges is a short ferry ride away. If you're going to Venice do yourself a favour and stay at Villa Cassanova

Villa Casanova is a beautiful building and Francesca and her husband are both lovely people who are more than willing to assist you in any way to make your stay in Venice as stress free as possible. My only moan is that there is no tea coffee making facility in the room - other than that I'd have no qualms about staying there again

Small and very well-run hotel/b&b in a quiet sidestreet on the Lido, but still very central only a few minutes wall from the waterbus-stop and the restaurants on the Lido Gran viale (main street). Not more than ten minutes walk down to the Lido beach. Most of all Villa Casanova is a friendly place with owner Allesandro and his sidekick Daniela doing their outmost to make the guests feel welcome. Breakfast is good with fresh bread, croissants etc every morning. We had a weeks stay and felt we were being treated like family. It really was that good!

Nettes Hotel nah am Anleger
Wir hatten einen sehr freundlichen Empfang. Das Haus ist sehr praktisch eingerichtet- kein besonderer Komfort, aber alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Es ist ein altes, aber renoviertes GebƤude- es ist sehr hellhƶrig- Schritte vom Obermieter sowie das SchlieƟen der TĆ¼ren im Haus hƶrt man. Im Garten sind kleine Sitzgarnituren fĆ¼r die GƤste aufgestellt. FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck im Garten war mƶglich, da das Wetter es zulieƟ.
