There were a long list of issues with this property:1). The location advertised in the VRBO listing was inaccurate. The apartment is not very close to San Marco square as advertised. It’s about A 20 or 25 minute walk. Had I known, I would have chosen a different apartment. 2). The check in process was difficult. Despite providing a credit card to secure the reservation, the owner sent me a link to pay. But only after I complained that I had not received the information to get into the apartment. I did not receive the information to get into the apartmentment until a few hours before I was ready to arrive. 3). I don’t know if the lack of communication was the fault of the owner or a poorly functioning VRBO app. Nevertheless, I had to spend a couple of hours with the help desk at VRBO to help me get into this apartment. When you are on vacation, this is a frustrating use of time. 4). Finally, the owner decided to move me to a different apartment which was smaller after I arrived. The air conditioner was non existent and it was very hot in the apartment. Of course, I got a smaller apartment at the same price as the larger place. With this background, I regret renting this unit; the apartment was not what I was expecting (2 beds instead of 3); the location provided was wrong; andvdealing with this owner was difficult.
