Op de perfecte plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht over het strand van Ventnor Bay. Het appartement ligt op het zuiden aan een rustige privéweg, met een eigen parkeerplaats, met uitzicht op het strand en op 5 minuten lopen naar de stad.

Het appartement is gelegen in de Victoriaanse kustplaats Ventnor op het eiland Wight. Beroemd om zijn milde mediterrane microklimaat heeft het het grootste aantal zonuren in het VK.

Met gezinsvriendelijk strand, bekleed met mooie Victoriaanse strandhutten en een fantastisch kustlandschap, is het perfect voor gezinnen of koppels en trekt het vaak wandelaars, schrijvers en kunstenaars aan die op zoek zijn naar ongerepte uitzichten. De eigenzinnige mix van kleine vintage winkels en vele populaire restaurants bieden voor elk wat wils. Sommige van onze appartementen zijn ook hondvriendelijk.

Het appartement op de 2e verdieping heeft een eigen parkeerplaats en onafhankelijke toegang en heeft 1 familieslaapkamer (dubbel en stapelbedden), badkamer, aparte woonkamer (met neerklapbaar tweepersoonsbed) en een volledig uitgeruste keuken. Het appartement heeft een fantastisch uitzicht op zee vanuit zowel de woonkamer als de slaapkamer, perfect om in bed te liggen en naar de golven te luisteren!

Het appartement is ingericht met een kustthema en beschikt over breedband wi-fi, slimme televisie, een dvd-speler en een volledig uitgeruste keuken met vaatwasser. Fris wit beddengoed en handdoeken zijn ook aanwezig.

We hebben een wasruimte, bieden een selectie van spellen, boeken en dvd's en er is ook een kleine tuin waar gasten gebruik van kunnen maken.

Let op Ventnor is heuvelachtig en er zijn trappen naar alle appartementen, dus het is niet geschikt voor mensen met mobiliteitsproblemen.

What a lovely retreat by the sea. Apartment was very clean and had all the kitchen equipment (pots, pans, potholders, utensils, etc) needed to prepare basic meals. We found the apartment to be very restful and enjoyed waking to the sound of waves on the shore. The laundry room with washer and tumbler was much appreciated. Lots of great restaurants in area and bus service was stellar.

This is a beautiful apartment with amazing views over Ventnor beach - the location was perfect. We had such a lovely weekend and would definitely stay there again! The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, and Dawn was really quick and helpful on all communication. We loved the thoughtful touches like the DVD and book library in the hallway. Highly recommend!

Weekend trip to Ventnor

First time at Saltys on a trip to Ventnor. Fist impressions were the amount of steps but then the property is on a hillside. You couldn't get better views of the sea once you've climbed to the flat. If you can handle the steps there is no better place to stay. Only gripes would be the dirty oven we had to wash before being able to use and the cheap bedding/linen and lack of loo roll. Would have no hesitation to return.

Full refurb needed

On our arrival it was obvious that the whole apartments decor carpets and furnishings were tired and this included the bedding. The bunk beds were not even made up so we couldnt stay in the same room and chat about our day. The pull down bed in the lounge was made up but you have to move the sofa to be able to pull the bed down...not ideal every day. The beds were like sleeping on concrete and in my book everyone deserves a good night sleep when on holiday. This is not what we had on these beds. The tv pixlated due to being so old and was unwatchable...im only glad that the weather was beautiful so that we didnt need the tv. We spoke to the host who admitted is was the oldest tv she had but wasn't on the island so couldnt do anything about it.The man that looks after the apartments was very helpful and asked the host if he could take a tv from one of the other apartments but was told no because they had guests coming in at the weekend. This was on the Tuesday and we were already there. Not impressed with the customer care ethic.The host agreed to take a fire stick from one of the apartments but the tv kept pixlating so was useless. There was only 3 towels that were left out for our use and this was not sufficient so permission was given to the apartment manager to give us some more. Three towels between two is not enough. So although the view is outstanding the apartment was not..We do not recommend and will not be returning to th acco............................agaismall it

A really lovely flat . Spotlessly clean . Both double beds really comfortable. Ingenious pull down double bed in lounge. Very large rooms with stunning views . You do need to be able to walk well as a lot of steps and a steep hill but would definitely come back if Dawn would have us !!

Lovely apartment with panoramic views of the sea. Location was fantastic, just a few steps from the beach. Lots of nice restaurants and tea shops in Shanklin nearby. The apartment had everything we needed an was clean and bright. As there were quite a few steps leading up to the apartment it would be unsuitable for someone with mobility issues.

Good location, great views

Lovely little apartment which is well equipped. Ideal for what we needed. Listing should make it clear on the amount of steps as anyone less mobile would struggle to carry luggage to the top floor apartments. I did contact the owner to look to change my ferry time for my return and have yet to receive a response.

Fab location

This property is located in road that has an incline, and maneuvering with a car around the permanently parked car was a bit tricky. Add the walk up the stairs with bags got your heart rate up, BUT it was all worth it for the view that you wake up to and the sounds of the ocean at night. My one moan was the bed wasn't comfy, but then we didn't go to Ventnor to sleep.

Delightful and comfortable

The property was better than expected. Easy to park and all the amenities we needed. The views out to sea were spectacular. Super clean. Comfortable beds. DVDs, toys and games in the shared ground floor area was a nice touch. Solid value for money. The town itself is nice and simple. It's very hilly so you need to be in relatively good shape to get around. Would come again!

Great location in lovely seaside town

Loved the view to the sea from lounge and bedroom. Ventnor is a great spot with some lovely eateries in town if you search them out. Fabulous walks either way along the coast. Falling asleep and waking up hearing the sound of breaking waves was lovely

Lovely Sea View

The apartment was as described and a great base to explore the island. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had good heating when needed. It's quiet and peaceful, with a sea view so you can watch the ships passing in the English Channel and, with the windows open, listen to the waves on the beach (very relaxing). We had no problems or issues during our stay and had no need to contact Dawn, the property Manager. The steps up to the apartment from the front car park could make it difficult for some but if you're reasonably fit it shouldn't be a problem. There are plenty of things to see and do near Ventnor, a good choice of restaurants, and you can walk to Shanklin along the Coastal Path, passing some lovely tea rooms along the way. Would happily stay here again!
