Het appartement, gelegen in een elegante en typische Ligurische gebouw begin '900, was het onderwerp van een recente conservatieve revalidatie werken met hoogwaardige materialen en de kwaliteit typisch voor de streek.
Het huis is gelegen in een rustig en gereserveerd, een paar honderd meter van het station en het centrum van Corniglia. De bijzondere positie op de heuvel, beplant met citrus en olijfbomen, aflopend tot aan de zee kunt u een adembenemend uitzicht op de zee hebben.

Hoewel gelegen op de tweede verdieping, het appartement is gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanaf het wegdek door middel van een vlakke loopbrug of de gereserveerde parkeerplaats op het terrein meer dan een trap. Het appartement is zeer helder, want het heeft vier vensters die een aangename ventilatie, zelfs in de warmste zomerdagen mogelijk te maken.
Het huis van 60 vierkante meter, bestaat uit een tweepersoons slaapkamer met uitzicht op zee; een badkamer met een grote douche en functioneel; grote woonkamer met uitzicht op zee tafel voor 6, bank zet in een comfortabel bed en satelliet-tv; volledig ingerichte keuken met alle benodigde faciliteiten. Vul het appartement, een balkon met een tafel en stoelen, toegankelijk vanuit de woonkamer en uitgerust met verlichting voor 's avonds en grote gemeenschappelijke buitenruimte met ook van nachtverlichting.

Great stay in Corniglia

Emiliana's place is exactly as per her description and photographs. It was just right for a three night visit for walking and relaxation. We comfortably walked the coast paths straight from the door to all the five villages, but as with everything in the Cinque Terre you need to be physically capable to enjoy what is on offer. The parking spot was really useful right next to the property behind a secure gate.

Lovely Apartment with Fantastic View

It was hard to leave this lovely apartment with fantastic views. In fact, our favorite part of each day was coming home to enjoy time on the balcony overlooking the water. Convenient to the other towns and just a 5 minute walk into Corniglia. We will be back!

Great Location and View

We had a great time at the Elegant Apartment. Both Antonella and Emiliana (host) were very courteous to deal with and the views from the apartment are stunning. Corniglia is also the quietest of the Cinque Terre so the nights were peaceful and quite enjoyable. The apartment is located only 10 minutes away from the train station and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable. The non-air conditioning was not a factor as there is enough of a cross breeze if you open all the windows and there is no dishwasher. Other than that, this place is a perfect vacation getaway for its price point Highly recommended.

Even better than we imagined

We were looking forward to this stay based on the photos of the view but it honestly surpassed even those high expectations. The place was spotless and well decorated. The view…I could sit on that balcony forever. Communication with hostess was great. Ms Antonella met us at La Posada and showed us the place. She does not speak English and we don’t speak Italian but she was kind and patient and we managed well. We loved Corniglia as a staging ground for exploring Cinque Terra. Central and quiet. The 382 steps made us feel like we earned all the gelato and pasta. Overall wonderful apartment and memories.

Lovely Time in Corniglia

Great property with excellent views. The location was perfect, as it was very peaceful and quiet, with a very short walk to the main village. Everything was as indicated on the listing, nothing else was needed for a comfortable stay. Emiliana, the host, was easy to work with and the check-in process was simple. I would definitely stay at this property again!

Perfect!!! I wanted to feel like I lived there and experience Cinque Terre and Corniglia as a local. What could be better than walking back to my own place after dinner or after a day out exploring! It was clean, comfortable, beautifully appointed. The VIEW!!!! The balcony! It was quiet and a wonderful place to retreat from the crowds. Corniglia is quieter than the other villages and that's exactly what I needed after spending time in Monterosso al Mare. Would definitely stay again.

This apartment has all you need to enjoy your stay in Cinque Terra located in the center town of Corniglia. Absolutely beautiful view. The kitchen handy for morning coffee and a light dinner a few nights. It was clean and bright and very comfortable. Totally recommend this rental.

Peaceful Corniglia with breathtaking view!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Perfect location. A short walk to the town and train station, but just far enough to be away from the crowds and enjoy the sounds of nature with a gorgeous view. Photos do not do it justice! Very friendly host and accommodations provided were everything we needed. Wouldn't hesitate to return!

Appartement très agréable et bien équipé

L'appartement était en tous points conforme à l'annonce, très bien équipé et extrêmement propre. La vue sur la mer et les montagnes environnantes depuis le balcon est époustouflante, l'immeuble très calme et parfaitement sécurisé (huisseries neuves et très fonctionnelles). Deux bémols : 1. Contrairement à ce que l'annonce laisse entendre en plusieurs endroits, l'appartement est situé à Corniglia et non à Vernazza. Si vous souhaitez impérativement loger à Vernazza, cet appartement n'est pas pour vous. Nous avons été surpris lorsque nous avons reçu l'emplacement exact du logement, car l'annonce était ambigüe sur ce point. Au final, Corniglia est un village très agréable et nous avons apprécié y séjourner donc ça n'était pas un problème. 2. Nous avions reçu les coordonnées d'une personne de contact censée s'occuper de nous à notre arrivée (nous n'avions pas l'adresse exacte du logement). Bien que nous lui ayons envoyé un SMS plusieurs heures avant notre arrivée, elle ne semblait pas être au courant de notre séjour. La réservation et les contacts avec le gérant immobilier en amont se sont effectués en anglais, mais la personne de contact ne parlait que l'italien, rendant la situation difficile à démêler. Nous avons fini par trouver le bon appartement (après deux essais infructueux) au bout d'une heure et beaucoup d'incompréhension. L'arrivée n'était vraiment pas facile, heureusement le reste du séjour a compensé cette première impression désagréable.

Great place for a week of walking

Very clean, amazing view and well equipped for our 5 day stay in Corniglia. The balcony was delightful to relax on after a day of walking and the location was perfect for strolling down into town. Check-in process could bave been smoother with Antonella but ultimately was an easy process. I would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Lovely flat; breathtaking views

This property exceeded our expectations. After hiking the trails, swimming, and exploring the towns, it was wonderful to recap our days with a glass of wine or two on the balcony high above sea before heading into town for dinner. Gorgeous view

The apartment was beautifully equipped with everything you could need. Very comfortable. A word of caution if driving - the road is a very stressful drive but the end result is worth it. The town is small and not as tourist packed as the other villages. Train down the hill is an easy way to get to the other towns.

The apartment is nicely appointed and the views are amazing. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. The bed is comfortable and the appliances are nice. There's no AC but a great breeze. Only problem is you have to close the bedroom window at night because of train noise so it gets warm. Also had trouble finding it the first day. Otherwise perfect!

What a View

The view from here was out of this world and I will stay here again if we ever go back. I gave only four stars on cleanliness due to the tiny ants that got up on the table and I gave only four stars on the check in process because Antonella was late. I was also not happy with the internet service as the router had to be reset on an hourly basis. The day we arrived, there had been a torrential rain all morning long, which probably attributed to the ant issue and Antonella's tardiness. Also, we came by car and that drive is not for the faint of heart. The other villages were easily accessible by train and we especially enjoyed the day we explored Riomaggiore and Manarola.

Hilltop Ocean View in Mellow Corniglia

The location of this apartment was perfect. If you don’t mind the initial trek uphill from the train station or you can take the shuttle (only tricky with baggage when busy). The walk into town is short and sweet. The cookware could use some updating as there are some Teflon pans and utensils. Otherwise we had all we needed to make simple meals (we never ate out due to food allergies). Toaster was appreciated. Wish someone would have warned us about sea urchins, my son stepped on one while getting out of the water. We wasted half a day trying to figure out what to do, getting treatment (pharmacy in Corniglia has a cream for it.). They are not toxic, and not a big deal, something I wish our apartment contact would have told us. There are no screens on the windows, which would definitely change the feel of the apartment, and we were lucky to not have an issue with mosquitos. The nights were windy and the windows which open into the house do not secure to anything so they banged around a lot until we secured them with chairs. The washing machine was broken when we arrived (with 6 days of dirty laundry for a family of 4) and our host kindly offered to wash them elsewhere, but they came back in the same dirty bag and were washed with a strong smelling detergent. There was nowhere to hang dry them other than a tiny rack that held about 2 shirts and some socks. The view was incredible and everything else As close to perfect as possible, Will be back for sure.

Wonderful Experience

The apartment is close by the train, which is helpful if you have a few bags (though still be prepared for lots of stairs & hills, pack light). It’s close to the Corniglia town center, restaurants and a pharmacy. The house was clean and had everything one would need from coffee to wifi, a hair dryer, shower amenities, etc. Above all the view is spectacular and the place was so safe. 10/10 would go again and highly recommend.
