Top vakantie! Super mooie villa!
Wij hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad tijdens het verblijf in villa Vézac. We hadden prachtig weer dus het zwembad kwam deze week erg goed van pas. Kortom, een top vakantie!

Perfect holidayhome
Prachtig en centraal in de Perigord gelegen villa. Alle voor zieningen zijn in de villa aanwezig. Prachtig aangelegde tuin met barbeque zwembad, jacuzzi en sauna die naar believen gebruikt mogen worden. Het huis is smaakvol ingericht met uitstekende bedden. Perfecte vakantie accomodatie voor een vakantie in de Perigord Noir.

Peaceful retreat
A lovely property in our favourite part of France. Everything was just as listed on the website. Lots of homely touches added, fresh flowers, wine and biscuits. Close by to Beynac, La Rocque, Sarlat & Domme. We loved it. Only downside is the amount of electricity that the sauna uses. We used it once and it just tipped us over our electricity allowance!!

We love this house :)
My second time staying here. Location is wonderful. Such a great house for a family. So many places for the kids to play in the garden, enjoy ping ping, billiards table, spa, swimming in the warm pool. All the decor in the house is beautiful. House has everything you’ll need to prepare meals or even use the outdoor grill. Having a washing machine was wonderful. We had 4 adults and two children with plenty of room for all of us. Several outdoor seating areas so it never felt crowded. I highly recommend this house if staying in the Dordogne area. Bonus was a/c in the two bedrooms upstairs if needed in the Summer. Read the fine print that linens are an extra charge. Great value and we’ll be back again.

A lovely break in a beautiful part of France
Beautifully presented property in true ‘French’ style. The outside space was perfect- several places to eat and relax and a lovely pool. The house itself is set in a lovely well tended garden. The location was excellent- very close to Sarlat and other lovely villages. There was a small shop in walking distance for morning croissants.

Magnifique
Nous avons passé une semaine dans la villa Vezac en famille. Très charmante maison, propreté irréprochable, literie très confortable. Il y a tout ce dont on a besoin, la piscine ensoleillée, sauna, jacuzzi, billard…. Au top le tout sans vis à vis , jardin très bien entretenu. La villa est parfaitement bien située pour toutes les visites de la région. Mr et Mme Laval sont très accueillant et disponible. Je recommande fortement.

Wonderful Villa and Location
A beautiful house and pool in a wonderful location. Totally private, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Huguette was welcoming, friendly and helpful, providing just the right balance of availability, advice and service whilst never encroaching on our time or relaxation. There is so much to do in the local area, although you have to tear yourself away from simply sitting back and enjoying the peace and quiet.

Un trés agréable séjour
Nous avons apprécié le calme de l'endroit tout en étant proche des activités commerciales et touristiques. La maison est un havre de paix , très bien agencée et très bien équipée. Nous avons profité pleinement des extérieurs (sans vis à vis) qui permettent de profiter du jardin en fonction de l'heure de la journée, sans oublier la piscine, jacuzzi, sauna et l'incontournable barbecue. Séjour enchanteur !
La Villa Vézac est un petit coin de paradis, idéalement placée à proximité immédiate de Sarlat et de nombreux sites touristiques. Le jardin est grand, boisé et magnifique en cette saison (fin octobre). Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine, ce qui est normal, mais le jacuzzi et le sauna étaient accessibles et nous ne nous en sommes pas privés ! Nous avons pu faire de bonnes flambées dans la cheminée, et goûter tous les plaisirs de l'automne. La propreté est parfaite, les lits douillets et la propriétaire charmante ! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Super semaine
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en Dordogne. Elle a très bien commencé avec le charmant accueil de sa propriétaire et par la découverte de la maison qui correspond bien à ce que nous souhaitions à savoir une belle villa de Dordogne à la décoration traditionnelle mais raffinée et à l'équipement complet, moderne et de qualité. Son emplacement nous a permis de découvrir les atouts et sites magnifiques de cette région. Sans faire des heures de voitures. Tout cela a fait que notre séjour a été à la fois calme et confortable avec belles découvertes. Nous reviendrons.

Séjour qui a dépassé nos espérances !
Séjour parfait à la villa Vezac: Maison avec beaucoup de charme et tout ce dont on a besoin. Piscine sans aucun vis à vis, jardin paysagé superbe. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus. Nous avons pu nous détendre au milieu de la nature. Maison proche de tout les sites importants. Cela restera un souvenir magnifique pour les grands et les petits. Rural retreat.
All pretty much as expected. Clean and tidy with amenities as described. It is very traditional rustic French. A little away from shops etc but no problem to be there in a car in a few minutes. Hugette and Mary were most helpful, only downside was that we brought the wet weather with us !!!!

A delightful home from home

Fantastic villa in a perfect location
We had the most wonderful week at Villa Vézac. Huguette was a charming host and so quick to respond when we needed her help. The villa is wonderful, a traditional French home full of antique furniture with lots of character. There are comfy beds, a good kitchen and fantastic showers. So many places to sit and eat, our favourite was the big table outside overlooking the pool and one night we enjoyed using the pretty bbq area. The highlight for us was the heated swimming pool surrounded by gorgeous flowers and trees. The water was fantastic and when we got chilly we relaxed in the perfect hot tub, such a luxury for us. We were lucky with warm weather so we didn’t use the sauna. What a brilliant location, near enough to Sarlat for the convenience of supermarkets but far enough to feel peaceful and tranquil. So close to the river for a fun day kayaking, a perfect way to see the sights. There was so much to do, we visited markets, caves, castles and gardens, the Dordogne is beautiful, this was our first visit and I’m sure we will return again. Thank you Huguette.

Beautiful Gem in the Dordogne
From our arrival Huguette made us most welcome. The property is gorgeous with beautiful furniture and all you could need for a fantastic stay. It sits in lovely private grounds, only a few minutes drive to Sarlat and all local attractions, perfectly located. Large sparkling pool and hot tub, pool was very welcome has the temperature hit 40 degrees whilst we were there. We enjoyed it so much and were sorry to leave after two weeks. I would definitely recommend both the property and owners, you could not ask for more.

Wonderful cozy villa with very generous hosts
4 of us shared this villa for a week and found it spacious enough and well appointed for 2 couples.Beautiful furniture, cozy wood burning fireplace that works very well and everything you need in a house to feel at home. Lovely grounds with trail into the woods, quiet neighborhood in the countryside and yet within 10 minutes to Sarlat, grocery stores, and within an easy car ride to some of the most beautiful villages and sites of the Dordogne. We were there in October and did not use the salt water pool which along with the indoor sauna and large jacuzzi looked very inviting and spotless! Cant wait to go back!!

Amazing house and beautiful location
A truly beautiful property with excellent facilities. The hardest decision you need to make is pool or jacuzzi. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you will need. The location is perfect whether you want wander around beautiful medieval villages or doing something more energetic like canoeing down the Dordogne - would tecommend this it is the best way to visit and see villages like La Roque Gageac. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit the area. Huguette was very welcoming and helpful on our arrival and throughout our stay.

dream home away from home
We spent an enchanting 3 weeks at Villa Vezac. The home exceeded the expectations raised by the pictures and description. It is beautifully appointed--loved the bathrooms/Roman showers! Kitchen has every appliance and tool you might need to feed a crowd. We spent most mornings and evenings under the covered patio, listening to the bubbling brook. The property is lush and green, full of rose bushes, flowering trees and wildflowers. Huguette and Gerard are wonderful hosts, quick to respond to our questions and needs. Beautiful house for a relaxing holiday
My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Villa Vezac. We were met on arrival by the charming Mme Laval who showed us around the property and explained how everything works. The house is elegantly decorated and immaculate. We both enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed long lunches on the adjoining terrace. We slept in the downstairs bedroom with adjoining kitchenette and breakfast room, perfect for an early morning cuppa. The pool is heated and was still warm enough for us to spend time in even in October and after a tough afternoon by the pool we thoroughly enjoyed using the sauna and large hot tub which all worked perfectly. Sarlat and Beynac are both a short drive away in opposite directions. There are several good supermarkets in Sarlat and the Saturday market is amazing with loads of local food and craft stalls. There is an abundance of places to visit and things to do nearby, from the beautiful medieval towns, châteaux, castles, caves and boat trips to just enjoying the stunning scenery and amazing history of the area. We have no hesitation in highly recommmending Villa Vezac.

A very private charming French style villa in lovely countryside.
The villa was well provisioned, very clean and above the normal standard of interiors, the furniture and beds of a high standard. Both Bathrooms modern and elegant fittings. Plenty of patio space outside and you could follow the sun as it tracked around the property. The sauna unfortunately broke down during the 1st couple of days and was not fixed before we left, Enjoyed the Jacuzzi and pool which was heated; a bonus. Lovely private grounds. There was one issue that needs to be more upfront. We were not aware that in French properties bedding, towels and cleaning come at an extra cost and this was not pointed out to us until after we had put down our deposit. We also had some issues with the cost of this out of our hefty Damage protection of 500 euros and when I questioned this with the owner did not receive a reply. Having said all this, if we were to go to the Dordogne again we would stay there again. Marie the English speaking manager was very helpful.

Bonsoir, Thank you for your comments on Villa Vezac. Whilst I appreciate that you were disappointed with the sauna breakdown, this problem was rectified straight away by the owner. Additionally the owner returned to the property the following day to make sure that it was functioning. As we heard nothing after this we assumed that everything was operational. Regarding the extra linen cost, this is noted under Prestations on Abritel website. We are delighted that you enjoyed your holiday at the house and hope to see you again in Perigord. Beautifully appointed traditional Dordogne house in a lovely area.
The house is very comfortable and French. Kitchen very well equipped- important for cooking up all the great local produce you buy at the markets. Close to many interesting historical sites. Hostess very warm and responsive to any expressed need or want. The house was filled with flowers from her garden when we arrived. Great pool and lots of outside sitting areas.

A lovely house with all that's needed for a relaxing holiday in a very attractive area of France. Perfect location close to Sarlat and the historic attractions on the River Dordogne. Huguette the owner was very helpful and accommodating.

This is a spectacular property in a wonderful location. Huguette has made a great deal of effort in ensuring that the property is a home away from home, plus much more. We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend this property for any prospective visitor.

Location tout confort très bien situées
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette location. L'accueil par la propriétaire est chaleureux, et efficace à la fois. Tout au long du séjour, les propriétaires sont restés très disponibles pour répondre à nos questions. La location est "nickel", bien équipée, le spa est très agréable. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine, car les températures extérieures étaient bien trop basses pour que nous nous y risquions (en avril...) ! L'endroit est très calme, le grand jardin clos est idéal pour les enfants. La maison est très bien située pour visiter la région. En voiture, on se trouve à moins de 15 minutes de routes d'un nombre suffisant de sites pour occuper une semaine, largement. En poussant à 40 minutes, on approche facilement Lascaux, La Roque Saint Christophe, les Eyzies, etc. Les commerces sont proches (grande surface à 5 minutes en voiture, épicerie fine à 2 minutes)

Beautiful house, great location.
We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. The house was decorated with lovely antiques and had everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. It was very clean and well maintained. Huguette and her assistant Marie, were very helpful and took care of everything. The house was in a great location close to Sarlat and many beautiful villages and historical buildings, there were so many places to explore. We definitely plan to return for another vacation here in the near future.

Reizendes Haus mit extrem persönlichem Flair
Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit in Huguette Lavals Haus verlebt. Sie nimmt sich aller Dinge schnell und mit großer Sorgfalt an. Das ist eine Oase der Ruhe und Erholung. Alles hat gepasst. Sehr empfehlenswert.
