'B&B Il Grappolo is a wonderful place to stay! It is like your own private villa with a beautiful view of the city from above. Maria and her daughter Angela are warm and friendly (but note Maria doesn't speak English at all). The breakfasts are excellent. Their dog barks a lot and may cause some concern when you first approach, but the owners calm it down. Important note: the B&B isn't in town where a taxi or bus can drop you off. Maria sent us a message saying the bus or taxi should drop us off...
'We enjoyed our stay in Capri. The owner, named Costanzo, was so helpful. He knows everyone on the island and was able to get us reservations to everywhere we wanted to go. From taxis to restaurants etc. The apartment is in a residential area about 2-3 blocks from the main road so it’s very quiet and convenient. There are a lot of places to eat, shop as well as a nice supermarket. All in walking distance. There is also a nice Airconditioner in the room which is strong and keeps you cool...
'Our stay at the La Minerva Hotel was simply unforgettable, from the minute we got to Capri to the time we left. Their hospitality started well before we arrived as they helped us with whatever we needed from arrival to departure and everything in between. We took the ferry from Naples to Capri and as soon as we arrived someone from the hotel met us at the ferry to take our luggages (prearranged) and gave us directions to get to the hotel. 'This is certainly a B&B with a view - located uphill from the Marina Grande, we enjoyed a fantastic sea views. The rooms are newly decorated in tones of blue and the bathroom is exceptional. The only snag is that we had to climb three flights of stairs as there is no lift in this building. I am not sure I read this when making the reservation ..........'
