Get ready for a hike!
Requested first floor handicap room - got 3rd floor handicap 7 doors down from elevator (quite a walk for me). The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. No ice on any floor- you have to go to front desk and ask they give a trash can liner full of ice!! The fire alarm went off and the blinking lights lasted over an hour (there was no fire). No breakfast just terrible machine coffee.

We are renovating, and unfortunately that was the only handicap room we had available at that time. I'm also sorry about the alarm going off. The lights were blinking in your room because our handicap rooms are also for the hearing impaired. We don't have ice machines yet, because of the renovation. The plastic bags filled with ice was to accommodate those that wanted ice. I'm sorry the presentation was lacking. We will change that in the future. Great location, friendly staff!!
My stay was amazing!! I actually arrived a day earlier than my reservation and the hotel was extremely accommodating. the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. My room was excellent and very clean. I felt safe. the entry way to the hotel when leaving is bothersome, you cant see oncoming traffic when trying to leave the hotel. Very well located near all the food places

As far as the exercise equipment we apologize if you had a difficult time using it. We waited in the hotel lobby for 20 minutes at midnight to check in with no desk clerk showing up for that time period. Also, the air conditioner in the room is broken.

Booked property as it was pet friendly..no additional charge was shown. Imagine my surprise when I was charged $75.00 for my pet. I will not stay at an IHG hotel again. That charg was piggish. Expedia should note this excessive pet charge.

The place is old looking! Lobby furniture is dirty and very run down. Nothing was welcoming at all. Desk clerk had problems with system then gave up. The room was filthy!!! Dried vomit on the floor our dog got to first. Pink goo in night stand, and the top of stay the ROACHES!!! Yes while eating a sandwich they showed up and while brushing our teeth the ROACHES paraded across the counter. The carpet was very dirty hand prints on the walls. Some one even tried to open our door durning the night. If it was earlier when we checked we would have left. We slept in our clothes and ran when we could. Also do to clerk from night before hotel did not even know we were there untill we were ready to leave. Would love a refund but i know that will never happen. Shame cause we had stayed at the candle wood in hurst texas and it was the best experiance. Sad that the same standares do not follow the brand. Best advise RUN RUN AS FAST AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!

The multi-station weight machine was in poor condition with certain stations unusable and potentially dangerous. Frayed, broken cables, loose platform on the leg press, etc. created unsafe conditions The reason we selected this hotel was for the weight equipment. The staff was notified.

It was ok. I was surprised to see no breakfast or a pool but that was my fault for not specifically looking. Our ice maker did not work and there were no ice machines. There were wasp in our hallway so I had to kill 2 at our door. I think they had the heater on in the hallway, it was so hot! The pillows were so soft they just went flat even though they were marked firm. Good things… free coffee day and night. Hot water and air conditioning. Oh and the dove soap in the bathroom. I’ve stayed in worse but will probably try another hotel the next time I’m in Vicksburg.

OVERCHARGED
I arrived a little after 11pm with my dog. I was told there was a pet fee, BUT $75!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only good with this visit was the bed was comfortable. I left by 9 am. This trip, I have stayed at the Hampton, the La Quinta which were MUCH nicer and my pet fee was a reasonable $25.00 If I was staying several days, a week, maybe the $75 would make sense. But not for someone that checks in at 11pm and is gone by 9am. I have stayed at Candlewood before, but never again.

Great hotel! They care about cleanliness! There was very minor cosmetic need for the bathroom door, and some Caulking. The bed was AWESOME! They have purchase food available but no breakfast. All in all safe, quiet and clean!!!

The mattresses were very comfortable. But there was no breakfast provided. Each room has a kitchenette, but shopping and preparing our own breakfast would be a hassle. This hotel would be excellent for longer stays.

Negatief: Voorzieningen, staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Good location. Poor service, we were given a handicap and hearing impaired room for no reason and the front desk staff didn’t warn us. The bathroom thus has handicap sink with no countertop (had to set our toiletries on floor). Also, sink handle broken and loose and shampoo dispenser broken. Stayed at several Candlewoods and this was most disappointing stay of any of them. Further, the entrance to busy service road was flanked by large bushes that made it very difficult to see street traffic when leaving premises.
