This home is just a short drive to Downtown Vicksburg and the National Miltary Park is your back yard. The two bathrooms include one jetted tub in the guest bath and the en- suite has a two person shower and doubles as a huge soaking tub, inviting you to unwind after a day of exploring. Stay comfortable year-round with air conditioning and heating throughout the home. Large custome kitchen overlooking Fort Hill with a breakfast nook. Formal dining that seats six . Beautiful living room looking at the river and sweeping views of the Delta. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or planning your next outing, this house offers a welcoming space to recharge. We look forward to hosting you at our place. If you need additional space - we have a garden unit studio apartment usually available to rent on the ground level of the home !

This was a nice and peaceful location in Vicksburg. The house was comfortable and at the end of the street, giving privacy. The host, Remy, was very attentive and responsive. The view of the river was nice and it was nice to hear the crickets chirping in the evening and the birds chirping in the morning.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Before we even arrived, our host provided outstanding local recommendations, including a restaurant that turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.The location was perfect—just outside Vicksburg National Military Park and minutes from the USS Cairo, making it easy to explore everything we had planned.The home was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, from Wi-Fi and bottled water to incredibly comfortable beds. Most of all, our family made wonderful memories here. If we’re ever back in Vicksburg, we’ll gladly stay at Massey’s in the Park again.

Gorgeous home with spectacular views! We stayed during our son's championship tennis tournament and it was located close to downtown. Rooms were spacious and decor was so nice. We will be back!

Everything was very nice. Clean,met the vrbo host Reny and his wife very nice very friendly. Minor glitches such as I didnt recieve the opening instructions. The ac worked once we figure it out. More on us not on the vrbo owners. If you are a history buff this is a great place to stay abd explore the cementsries of the civil war and all the military artifacts in the area. Vicksburg downtown is very cute

Came to Vicksburg to visit the Battlefield. Couldn't ask for a better location - literally IN the park! Pet friendly was a must for us. Host was very communicative. Enjyed our stay!

Massey's in the Park is a very comfortable three bedroom home just outside the entrance to the Vicksburg National Battlefield. It is at a very high point on the bluffs overlooking the MS river and has wonderful views. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed and bath linens are of good quality and the common areas of the home are warmly decorated and comfortable. Parking and access are good. There is a back deck that is comfortably furnished and includes an outdoor grill.The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful with regard to the property and suggestions for things to do and places to eat in and around Vicksburg. Unlike many of the VRBO properties I have utilized over the years, the property owner at Massey’s in the Park does not require excessive check out procedures and cleaning by the guest. Of course guests should always be respectful of the property and leave it as it was found.The one small issue that we encountered was the presence of ladybugs in the house. Apparently this is a seasonal issue only. We did not find it to take away at all from our very positive experience with this property.It is a lovely property and a very scenic location near the everything Vicksburg has to offer.
