'Had a lovely stay here in a very comfortable house. Warm welcome from Johnny and his dad and asked if I wanted some fresh milk for tea once I was shown to my room…always a good sign! My room was beautifully furnished and clean and very bright, with a lovely spacious balcony overlooking the hills. Tasty breakfast and on the road. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.'

The shower wasn’t great - it couldn’t decide between the temperature I set and scolding hot and freezing cold - meaning that it was a stressful shower! The air con is incredibly weak, meaning the room was really, really hot on the 4th floor. 'We absolutely loved our stay here. After multiple days of traveling, we felt like we could truly relax in this bright and spacious room. It was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. We could easily walk to all of the hot spots. The owners were also very helpful and communicative. We had a walking tour on the day of our checkout and they graciously allowed us a late checkout. We want to return to Derry just to stay here again!'

'The property was unique and beautiful. In a very quiet neighborhood but close to many things. We arrived early before check in and they sat is in a lovely lounge and provided tea and snacks while we waited. The breakfast was fresh, generous and delicious. Definitely would stay there again'

'22 The Square was a good surprise. We didn’t expect it to be that good based on the pictures. I think they are outdated because we were in room 9 and it looks way more modern than on the pictures. We were two friends travelling and ended up with 3 beds in our private room, which was quite a luxury. 'The hotel is centrally located in the city of Derry with large clean modern rooms. The bar is essentially the pub next door, which is quite busy. There aren't any real hotel amenities eg lobby or gym, so i did find it tricky without room servi e late at night. Nonetheless in normal hours it is great and comfortable place to stay.'
