'A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach but I think we figured it out after a few days. Reliable cell service is back at the Orwell Creek Road turnoff, for those wondering. 'We had the most restful stay in this cute retro bach. Everything we needed was provided. Adored the outdoor fire and bath. The covered outdoor eating area was perfect for rainy day dining. Extremely cosy indoors with fire. Even managed a wave from the train driver passing by!!!!!Highly recommend for a getaway. '

'Chontal is the most engaging host, she greeted us, laughed with us and provided fantastic service. The accomodation is next level, we wish we could have stayed longer, beds sooooo comfortable. Each room has such an incredible story, historical character and modern ensuites. The kitchen & living room very functional for a group. This is a real gem in a cool little town. '
