'There are several problems with the property that made the stay unpleasant and/or inconvenient. The most important one is the fact that it was not obvious to us that it was critical to communicate with the manager/owner before hand to get instructions on getting to the place and then having access to it. No one inhabits the premises, so to understand how to open doors once there requires a conversation with the owner. It took us a while to figure out where the building was (no street address)...

" Hotel Hampton by Hilton in Bariloche is in a beautiful location, close to the center and overlooking Lago Nahuel Huapi. The hotel offers good facilities such as a fitness room and a standard Argentinian breakfast (included in your stay). The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. I hesitated between booking this hotel and the NH Edelweiss. In retrospect I am very happy that I chose Hampton by Hilton, because it saves an extra 100 meters up and down the hill and you have a much nicer view of the lake. And it saves 200 euros on the total stay! "
