'I love, LOVE the Great George and have stayed there numerous times over the years. My suite was superb, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The staff, as always, was friendly and extremely professional. For those new to Charlottetown, the location of the Great George is perfect - it's an easy walk to all of the downtown attractions and amenities. A++'

'This hotel was located within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. It was very clean, spacious, had a beautiful view of downtown Charlottetown and the staff was very friendly. The food in the restaurant was quite good. I would highly recommend this hotel.'

'We absolutely loved our stay at the Inn! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful without being overbearing, the rooms were adorable and clean, and we were walking distance to downtown. 100% would stay here every time I visit!'

'A beautiful historic hotel, we found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, comfortable suite (ours had a kitchen) and loved that we could do laundry at the onsite laundry machines. We could walk everywhere in old Charlottetown, and parking was free at the hotel. I would stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone I know travelling to PEI.'

'It was very clean but a bit tough for getting around the bed especially with a cane. Was fantastic for being able to be downtown and close to everything. But you gotta do something about being able to take alcohol to the rooms. A small tv for those that don't stay out at night would be a nice add on. Staff was helpful and nice. In discussions with other older customers a lot of them were not impressed. You should let people who book know about the parking situation.'

'I would recommend the Rodd to anyone traveling to Charlottetown. I stayed there for three nights and found the staff were amazing and super helpful. Very solution oriented and kind the few times we needed something from them. The rooms were spotless and have been newly renovated and the rest of the hotel is maintained. If you use hotel gyms, it is missing a few machines but still does the job quite well.'

'The hotel is convenient to visit Charlottetown with the car, located in the commercial street outside downtown but not far. Room spatious, well equipped and quiet. The continental breakfast is included but like mos american hotel chains, self service with plastic-throw-away china which for us europeans is seen very primitive and improvised. The staff at the hotel were very helful and efficient as they organised shipment of the bag that we forgot in the hotel, many thanks for that extra service!'

'The place was great, very nice little cottage and nice staff. The only big issue was that the temperature settings in the rooms were locked to cooler temperature in the living space (requiring the use of blankets for eating and watching TV) and warm in the bedroom making it an uncomfortably warm temperature to sleep in. My partner tends to produce a lot of heat and even he found it too cold in the living space.'

'It is in a very pretty spot near the North River. Cows (ice cream) is about a block away and open til 10pm. There is parking and a gas station across the street. I was in #5, my room was lovely no problems and the tv worked, basic cable but still good. I would recommend for a short stay.'
