Villa Lantana is a characteristic and welcoming two-story independent house built on the sloping cliff in front of the sea. It sleeps four people. From Villa Lantana you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and of the greenery. Villa Lantana is 80 square meters (860 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, two private terraces, a private patio, a shared garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 5 km (3.1 miles) from Vietri sul Mare, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation and the beach. You will reach Villa Lantana from the garden without having to climb any steps.
To stay at Villa Lantana you will need a car. You will be able to park it nearby, free of charge in a parking space.

The complex is nestled in a terraced land in a prominent position. It is placed before the blue sky and the blue sea, and it is surrounded by the vivid green of a lawn and the lush Mediterranean vegetation.


The small complex is divided in 4 cottages (Villa Albarosa A, B, C and D), an independent house (Villa Lantana) and the main villa.


As soon as you arrive on the terraces, your eyes will meet the wide arch of the Gulf of Salerno: on the right you will have a picturesque glimpse of the Amalfi Coast, while on the left and further away you will see the mountainous coast of the Parco Nazionale del Cilento (National Park of Cilento).


And if you look down right below, you will see a long and steep stretch of verdant coast due to cultivations of lemons which seem to plunge into the sea. And at sea level, you will see from the above the little village of Vietri Sul Mare, unmistakable for its wide beach of grey sand and the large shining majolica dome and bell tower of its cathedral.


The air is transparent and perfume-filled, and the colors are bright: by looking around near the complex, you will be able to see bits of the roofs of some houses immersed in the surrounding green.  You will soon realize, just as I did, that this place is an angle of paradise. Lucky the one who can live here forever!


The complex is found inside an age-old seven-hectare farm still fenced in by a high and old stone wall. The terrain descends from up above the coast down towards the sea, and it is cultivated with lemon pergolas characteristic of the Amalfi Coast. On the highest part of the land, there's an age-old main villa  and a beautiful swimming pool.


The agricultural farm, besides growing lemons, produces the famous Limoncello liqueur and other liqueurs made of fennel and laurel. You can taste these and other products at the main villa.


The owners live in the place and will be at your disposal with all their discretion in case you need any help. You can book dinners at the main villa or even book guided tours or excursions on boats. 
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 16 meters (52 feet) long. The area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrellas and deck chairs. By the pool you will also find a bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a charming view of the greenery and of the sea. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.
Garden
The garden is equipped with tables and chairs. From the garden you will enjoy a broad view of the sea. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex.  Terrace 1
The first terrace is 30 square meters (320 square feet) large. It is equipped with a sofa and armchairs, as well as with sun loungers. From the terrace you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea.
Patio
The patio is 40 square meters (430 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic wood roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy a splendid view of the sea and of the coastline.
Top LevelLiving Room
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The furnishings include a sofa. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace and the patio through two French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. The kitchen has no door. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The kitchen has a window.
Mezzanine Level
In the living room you will find an open mezzanine level, without door. You will be able to access it climbing 12 steps. The furnishings of the mezzanine include two armchairs.
Half bath
The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. You will be able to enter it from the living room and from the kitchen. Bottom LevelTerrace 2
The second terrace is 10 square meters (107 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a broad view of the greenery.
Bedroom 1
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the second bedroom or from the terrace. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter a terrace, which is equipped with table and chairs, through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 2 - a pass-through room
Important notice: members of your party might need to walk through this bedroom to reach the first bedroom (going through this room can be avoided by entering from the terrace). The second bedroom has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a large window with a view of the greenery. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the second bedroom through an access area.
