'The room was nicely updated. A bit small but still comfortable. The shower was a bit awkward because it was a small room but the water was nice and hot so that made up for it. The breakfast area was clean, stocked, and inviting. The selection of food was good, something for everyone.'

'The only thing I can say about the hotel is that it would be better if they did not charge for the breakfast. The breakfast was great, but with so many other hotels offering breakfast it just seemed a bit much to have to pay for the meal. The wait staff in the dining area was great, but with it being a buffet, I felt like there were too many staff members there. Other than this, the hotel is wonderful!!!!!'

'Good location for travelling, even close enough to drive downtown Staunton. Hotel grounds very neat and good parking, first impression inside very clean and open and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and quite clean, bathroom needs some professional plumber do the caulking and removal of mold, though generally clean. Breakfast was quite varied, with as well choices for a healthy breakfast, though also very sugar loaded choices. Service at breakfast was perfect, the ladies kept all super...

'Very nice-staff helpful and nice as well. Good continental breakfast-only issue is turning on the shower -the door makes it impossible to not get wet. Poor design.'

Coffee maker was dusty; after running plain water through it, the water came out black. On day 2, we came back to room that was never cleaned, the bed wasn’t even made, but we only got fresh towels. Front desk said we hadn’t requested cleaning, though there were no notices or forms saying cleaning was optional. Staff offered to move us to another room that night, but said we would also have to move...

'We had a fantastic stay at Iris Inn. Its location is super convenient right off the highway and close to so many hiking trails and wineries. The view from the Inn is enough to not even leave it is so beautiful. We loved the breakfast and ability to have dinner and drinks later in the day.'
