From here, we could watch the fireworks over Reykjavik at new years and we also saw the northern lights! Just remember that the check in is not at the cabbins, but in the hotel in town. 'Very friendly staff at reception. But the rooms are in need of a refresh. It is clean, but the bed is a wooden block with a mattress on it and there is carpet in the room, which I always find a bit unhygienic. Breakfast was fine.'

'Hotel is on a great location in Vik, and easy to find. Free parking was nice and wifi was fast. Bar is cozy and staff was friendly, patient and helpfull. The superior room was a bit to small for 3 persons and 3 suitcases to stay in. The extraction in our shower was not working and the shower could really use some hooks to hang up the towels.
