Een licht en luchtig appartement met automatische airconditioning op het zuiden, met uitzicht op het zwembad, het kinderzwembad en de aangelegde tuinen. De grote woonkamer / eetkamer heeft een tweezitsbank en een driezitsbank (slaapbank). Twee openslaande deuren leiden naar een terras met tafel en stoelen. Trap leidt naar groot dak zonneterras met ligstoelen. 200 meter van het beroemde 5-sterren Villa Sol Hotel en het Villa Sol Golf Clubhouse. 5 minuten rijden naar Quarteira resort en het strand en 5 minuten rijden naar de jachthaven van Vilamoura en het strand. 3 minuten rijden naar een waterpark en 5 minuten om te karten in Almancil.

We had the most wonderful stay in Richard's 2 bed apartment with fab terrace. The place was spotless and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was ideal — for golfers and families, with the golf course around the corner and a lovely pool just outside. Only a short drive away were lovely restaurants, and beaches. Uber are relatively inexpensive.Highly recommend — I would absolutely stay here again!

We had a very enjoyable stay at this first class apartment and complex. We have stayed at Vilasol before but not at this particular complex but will do so again. Terrace was a sun trap and we particularly enjoyed the very easy access to the pool. Owner's comms before the stay were comprehensive and friendly.

Positives and negatives

We stayed here from mid-February to the end of March to golf and explore nearby towns. The condo was clean, except for the dirty floors, which we immediately noticed on our socks. There was no dish soap or brush, shower soap, paper towels, or any kitchen staples (ie: salt) provided. Not sure if this is standard in Europe. Unfortunately, the wifi was not working when we checked-in. It took 10 days to be fixed and was a huge inconvenience. We were compensated 40 Euros cash and our planned mid-stay cleaning was free. The mid-stay clean was well done. The location is excellent, a short drive to numerous golf courses and a 20-minute walk to several restaurants. The outdoor living space has two patios, providing morning and afternoon sun and an umbrella for shade. The condo came with a gas BBQ which we used often. Near the end of our stay we ran out of gas and the owner replaced it. Two other issues impacted our stay. One, the hot water was inconsistent. This created an issue washing dishes and running the dishwasher with only cold water. Thankfully the shower had lots of hot water. Secondly, there were ants in the unit that we noticed as soon as we moved in. As an example, I left a used tissue on the night stand in the middle of the night and when we woke up it was covered with ants. Overall there were positives and negatives to the unit. The location and outdoor patios were perfect, however the negative aspects impact our overall rating of this listing.

My parents stayed with friends and the apartment is in a great location. The communal facilities are lovely and the pool isn’t too crowded. The apartment wasn’t as clean as we would have liked however after letting the owner know an additional clean was arranged. It’s got lovely sunny balconies and is a good base to explore.

Pontos a menos positivos e/ou a melhorar: (i) necessidade de automóvel (acesso a supermercado, praia), (ii) devem referir que apartamento se situa no primeiro piso e acesso é apenas por escadas (para mim não foi um problema), (iii) algumas lâmpadas avariadas (fundidas) - deveriam ter mais cuidado na vistoria entre os alugueres.

A very comfortable apartment, located on the Vila Sol development and near the hotel and golf course. There’s a lovely view from the terrace over the pool which is only a few minutes walk. Lots of loungers available and the grounds are immaculate. It’s a short ride into Vilamoura and it’s easy to get taxis if you don’t have a car, although there are limited shops/ eating places within walking distance. A well equipped apartment with everything you need and the owner was very helpful with local knowledge and information for our stay

Having stayed in the area many times we knew the area with regard where shops etc were. I do think it would be helpful for a information folder to be provided along with a small welcome pack of water etc. We have normally had both of these at other private rented apartments.The apartment is of lovely size, very spacious but could do with a bit of TLC
