Verrassende woning
Grote woning met veel ruimte en verrassende indeling. De sanitair voorzieningen kunnen wel een update gebruiken. Voor de Noord-Europeanen aan de kleine kant. Ook het fornuis is gedateerd. De oven is wel recent en goed te gebruiken.

Authentic Spain
Cozy living room and fireplace. Good for multi-generation family stay. Lovely village in rural setting but close to many historic sites.

Bona estada
La recepció va ser molt complerta amb molta amabilitat i informació sobre el funcionament de la casa. La propietària va respondre sempre desseguida qualsevol consulta que li fèssim per whats, correu o telèfon LA casa té molt de caràcter i potencial malgrat la seva tremenda antiguitat. Aquesta antiguitat és el que li dóna encant, juntament amb tot el conjunt del poble de Vilaür. Està a un moment en cotxe de supers, fleques o restaurants. A quinze minuts de la platja. La casa té alguns detalls de decoració encantadors. Els llits són confortables. Els banys són justets però funcionals. Vem tenir un problema amb el desaigüe d'un d'ells i la propietària va saber reaccionar molt bé al contratemps i va aconseguir ajuda tècnica per a sol.lucionar-ho. En conjunt una bona estada. Els únics peròs que jo hi posaria serien el fet que només hi ha aire acondicionat a dues estàncies, que la cuina és elèctrica i que no està equipada amb microones. La carretera, tot i estar just a tocar de la terrassa, molesta poc.

Moltes gràcies per tot Eudald, Ha estat molt agradable tenir-vos com a hostes. Estic contenta que hagueu estat cómodes i haguéu gaudit de la casa apreciant la seva bellesa. Ja hem instal·lat un microones a la cuina. Us esperem sempre que vulgueu.

Lovely historic house in a great location
This is a really special home that dates from the 1600. It has the character of an historic home but has been updated with modern conveniences. It is also quite large and comfortable and well kept. The Internet was a little spotty, but the owner was quick to respond and fix any problems. The town itself is quite small, but also charming with a lovely piazza on which the house resides. There is an excellent restaurant that is a two minute walk (if even that) from the house. The food is really quite good, and I would strongly recommend it for a week day lunch or weekend dinner. Vilaur is also well located to many great costa brava sites. L'Escala is only 15 minutes away and Girona and Figueres are also an easy drive.

Cal Secretari
This large apartment has loads of character and is located in a beautifully quiet village location. Within easy reach of interesting inland and coastal places to visit. To access one bedroom (and the roof terrace) it is necessary to pass through another bedroom, and there seemed to be a very limited hot water supply for such a large place. Great views from the roof terrace across the countryside and to the Pyrenees and, notwithstanding the above noted points, would definitely recommend a stay here.

Thank you very much for your kind words recommending our house. The upper level is a very nice family space but if someone likes more intimicy we have other rooms in the other floor. Every bathroom has a hot water tank, but we are going to increase the capacity of the one in the upper level.

Superbe séjour !
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette très belle demeure. Elle est idéalement située à environ 15 à 20 min de chaque lieu de visite. Nous la recommandons vivement. Les hôtes sont très agréables et nous ont aidé à choisir nos visites. A refaire !

Nous sommes très contents que notre maison du siècle XVII serve pour fair realité des bons moments de repos à l'Empordà.

Hemos pasado el. Fin de semana y la estancia ha sido muy agradable
La casa se encontraba muy bien comunicada, hemos podido hacer excursiones sin hacer trayectos largos. La casa tenía todo los accesorios para una extancia agradable,lo único que se hecho en falta fue un microondas.
